Interesting how all 4 of our Safeties don't have contracts for 2009. So technically we have no Safeties on the roster for 2009 as of right now, except for Jason Allen, who was moved to CB.

Which is interesting because he had a good 2 games, especially the one against DEN where he played pretty good and 1 game where he played fair. He struggled against Moss in that loss to NE and he hasn't see much playing time other than STs since.

Makes me wonder, what if they are planning on moving him back to Safety next season being that we don't have any Safeties signed currently for 2009.

If MIA doesn't feel that Jason Allen, who is signed through 2011 can be at least our NB, look for them to move him back to Safety. He'd do a hell of a better backup FS than Courtney Bryant. I mean, he played very good and led us in INTS the second half of the season last year. He isn't going anywhere, for those who are crying for his head, that's for sure.

I see Safety next season looking like Yeremiah Bell being re-signed to start at SS, with T Culver being re-signed to back him up. I also see MIA re-signing R Hill (as its been reported that MIA has contacted Hill's agent about re-signing him) to start at FS, with J Allen being moved back to FS to back him up.

So that's what I see happening at Safety for 2009. This way we can concentrate our big FA signing to CB, OLB, and/or WR....and re-signing Carey, Goodman, and maybe Crowder.

we will draft one Mays or Moore would be awesome but i think we have to look in the 2nd somewhere Delmas or Kam Chancellor will be there i think both would be good and could learn from Hill who IMO is a good guy to learn the game from.

if taylor mays from USC falls to the 32nd pick ;) we have to grab that guy

Could be an option too. In this scenario, Jason Allen stays at CB to backup Will Allen and Andre Goodman probably as NB. Maybe they bring Nate Jones back, but I definetly see them adding another CB.

If Jason Allen moves to FS, then they probably sign a CB "and" draft one. But if Allen stays at CB, then they probably draft one, since the group seems to be getting on the other side of 30...
