The playoff picture is just about settled, and although we still have a chance, I dont think we will be playing come January.

This leads me to the 2010 draft. I think we will be making a selection somewhere between the 12 & 18th pick. As we have seen in the past, players drop and some get selected early...to early.

I have posted a poll wondering where you think we will pick, who you guys think we should pick and why, and who will drop down the draft chart. There are plenty of players that can come out & start on defence straight away, particularly at LB or DE.

I have selected 7 players and an option for 'other' for your choice if none of my selections excite you.

Personally, i would be happy with either Terrence Cody or Rolando McClain.

Anyways, have a think & let me know.

i picked McClain, even though i'd be just as happy with Spikes...but i think we'll have a shot at either and go with McClain to help rebuild our LB corp...plus i did that due to his familiarity with playing in a 3-4 due to Sabans hybrid 3-4 4-3...and WelcomeBack,i think we'll grab a WR via FA,and focus on LBers in the first few rounds of the draft...because we BADLY need both ILBers and OLBers....

Pending the CBA, a lot of the solid wideouts that are set to be free agents will in turn be RFA...meaning we'd have to give up something for them.

Dez Bryant can come in as a rookie and make an immediate impact. I'd rather have him than Antonio Bryant.

Dez Bryant.......

why: The NFL is turning into a passing league and if you don't have a #1 Wide Receiver, it is hard to be an elite team. Look at the Pats, Saints, Colts and Chargers.....they all have great wide receivers, and more then one guy who can beat you. We have a lot of good to average receivers but nobody who is a real game breaker. I like guys like Hartline and Camarillo but they don't have that breakaway speed....Ginn and Bess have problems catching the ball on a consistent basis and when they do you worry about them fumbling it. I hope we can get Dez Bryant, or Golden Tate/Arrelious Benn. Parcells doesn't seem to like to take WR's early, but the game has changed since the Tuna was a coach. We need speedy receivers with size.

I'm a canes fan and my favorite 2 players in this draft are both georgia tech players Derrick Morgan and Demaryius Thomas....studs!

Dez Bryant he is one of the best players in the draft and the guy is going to be a stud in the NFL and he fills a huge need

honestly we havent seen a dez Bryant real time game in a year..its reminding me eerily like that Detroit WR Mike Williams- who sat out one year.

spikes all day for me. would be just as happy with mcclain, though.

I like McClain, because I think he fills a huge need, and I think he his 10 times better than Spikes, but I picked "other" - I like Spiller just too damn much. Not sold on Bryant.

Personally, I want whatever the best NT that is available. If not, then McClain will do. Its not going to matter who is at ILB if the NT is demanding a double team. Soliai doesn't demand double teams and who knows if Ferguson is going to be back.

voted dez bryant ,by far the best of the players on the list and fills a bigtime need

but if mcClain is there i can see the tuna and co going for him

havnt a prob. with that at all!

Remember when we passed on Patrick Willis?...let's not do it again. I want McLain.

I'd be very happy with Dez Bryant as well though.
