2010 Miami Dolphins starting Defense

NT: Casey Hampton/ Or Ryan Pickett

WLB: Jason Taylor/ Cam Wake
ILB: Karlos Dansby
ILB: Micah Johnson
SLB: Brandon Graham

CB: Sean Smith/ Will Allen (battle for the starting job in training camp)
SS: Yeremiah Bell
FS: Nate Allen/Gibril Wilson (also let them battle in traning camp who ever wins is the starting FS and it would most likly be Nate Allen)
CB: Vontae Davis

First four rounds of mock draft
Round 1: Brandon Graham OLB
Round 2: Nate Allen FS
Round 3: Micha Johnson ILB
Round 4: Jimmy Graham TE

It would be nice to build our defense around those 4 LB's and our 3 young secondary players and two young DE's we would have a very young and up coming Defense in the nfl

I really like Graham but also like Thomas and McClain and Spoon.

I don't think that we will draft a FS b/c we have a young secondary already so I am assuming we go via FA again...Bethea is tops on my list.

Dansby would be great but don't think we spend 25 mill guaranteed on a 28 yr old guy..or 29 w/e he is.

he is 28 until November 3 he is still pretty young and would be the cover LB and Johnson would be more of the run stoping LB i think they would work very good togther

I really like it personally, Hampton/Pickett is a must and Dansby would be a great addition inside.

I think you have to cut Wilson or Bell (or get anything for one of them), in an uncapped season we need to take advantage of the ability to get rid of guys with no hit. You would still have Clemons and Culver as back ups and getting rid of some big contracts will protect us when there is a cap again. While we're at it cut Torbor (4mil), Porter (3.6mil), W.Allen (5.2mil) which is 13mil right there.

Re-sign N.Jones to be the nickel with J.Allen and maybe a late round flyer.

I think if Graham was to be the pick then trade back and collect atleast another pick. Then try to see if Crowder could fetch anything aswell.

Crowder is going to start. He has the most experience. He may not be the best but he is more than serviceable. Paired with a good ILB, who complements him (can cover TE, RB) he will really shine. I like a guy like Mcukelroy from Texas in the second he has the same build as Ayodele but is fast while loving to stuff the run. BTW Picket, Hampton and Wilfork arent going anywhere. Neither is Dansby.
