This year's Pro Bowl will be played in Miami the week before the Super Bowl. I like the idea.

Obviously, we would like to be playing the week after. That does not appear to be realistic. In any case, players will be picked if they play or not. How many Phins will be selected?

Your choices?

I say Jake Long, Channing Crowder and Will Allen

Crowder's never made a game-changing play in his career. I like him a lot and I think he's above average but the guy's not making a Pro Bowl. I could see Porter making one though.

Long is pretty much a lock. As a first overall pick unless he gets killed on MNF and everyone sees it, he'll be in for a long time. It's the nature of the pro bowl.

Jake Long, Gibril Wilson, veron Carey. i dont think we get that many pro bowlers but will play better as a team.

I guess it depends on your defintion of a game changing play. Personally making a tackle to stop a touchdown deep in territory is a possible gamechanging play. He does not play a glamour position, he is the tackler and he does it well. I think he will have his best season.

Penny, Ronnie, Polite, Long, JT, and Merling.

Polite is not a top level blocker and I dont see any one player having enough yardage for him to be considered. Ronnie I think will have about the same amount of carries as last year and have some key runs taken away by Pat White. I also see less Td's for him.

Jake Long, Yeremiah Bell, Ronnie Brown

I disagree on his blocking, although last season was good and not top level. I expect him to show his ability more this year after knowing what he's doing. Remember, he came in at game 5.

I also expect Henning to get him around 5 carries a game, and him to be more involved in the passing game. He is a good receiver.

Last year Crowder had 92 solo tackles, 6 for loss, 1 forced fumble, & defended 6 passes.

In 06, ZT had 103, 5, 2, and 10.

In NO WAY am I saying that Crowder is another ZT. However, his stats were close, and he had Ayodele next to him. ZT had Crowder.

Ya think that just maybe one of those 92 tackles could have changed a game a wee bit? :)

Good pic, GREAT movie.

Regardless of how many are picked, is it not something that we are talking about half our team being worthy of, at least, consideration?

How many would we have named two short off season's ago?

GOTTA LOVE IT!!!

i think them having pro bowl before super bowl is a bad idea. think about it, your team won thier conference and is heading to the super bowl, but lo0se one of thier key players due to a freak injury in the pro bowl.

Guys in the SB do not play in the Pro Bowl.
