We are basically keeping the same players on defense with a couple of upgrades in the secondary and DE. The defense should be very good. Keep in mind that Nolan didn't have his heart into the team at all last year. It wasn't until he was releaved of play calling in favor of Bowles that the defense starting playing well. I think with having a training camp, we should be cohesive from game #1.
On offense, it just depends who is the starting QB. Starting game #1 with Matt Moore would probably give us the best chance to win coming out of the gate. If we start RT, there will probably be some "growing pains". We will probably have a moderately simplified offense, with lots of rushing attempts, and safe throws to start the season, with more plays added as the season progresses. The Oline will probably want to rush the ball to gain confidence and cohesiveness.
The offense will probably be a work in progress.
