Stats don't tell the whole story. But I thought it would be interesting to see how he stacks up against QB's in the same class with starting experience, relative to draft selection. Right now the only QB I would take Tannehil over is Brandon Weeden.

I never thought Tannehill was worthy of a first round pick. Last week in my thread I stated I thought he could be a game manager, similiar to Alex Smith. After today, I don't think he'll ever be at that level. He's a good backup and a bad starter.

Griffin, Tannehill, and Weeden are complete busts.

The one year we couldve actually waited until round 2 or 3 to draft a QB and still get a good one. Cousins or Wilson wouldve been awesome in a Phins uniform.

The year we had #1 overall pick and shouldve actually used it on a QB......... :bobdole: That of course would be the year we wait till round 2. Phins gonna Phin.

I was a big supporter of Kuechly at #8 and Wilson/Cousins/Foles at #54

so in one week things changed that much for ya...i guess credibility isnt worth anything around here

It hasn't been just one week. Look at the last 5 games RT17 has played. garbage.

100 for 191 for 910 yards. 5 TD's and 5 Ints. QBR 63.4, starting record 1-4

Time to give someone else a try IMO.

i'm just saying i find it hard to take anyone as credible who changes their tune that much in one week...

I never said he was good. I've ALWAYS thought we reached big time for him. I preferred Wilson, Cousins, or Foles before Tannehill.. even at #8 overall. A week ago I said he can be a game manager. I never said he was going into the hall of fame. I was on the fence about him being a game manager, he's not even that. It's clear he's a bad starter, but would be a pretty good backup. Chad Henne 2.0 with more speed. If anyone should be retracting it would be you. He's barely the 2nd best quarterback in the AFC East, let alone the conference. Carr is already outplaying him, and Bortles will be shortly, on the worst 2 rosters in pro football.

You definitely know your ****, I'm not debating that. But you need to change your signature. How credible do you appear with that in your sig?

All he needs to do with that line under his avatar is change the "o" to a "u" and change the last "s" to a "t". Once he does that he will appear to have his head on straight.

Credibility is also the ability to change your mind when facts have changed. It doesn't matter of it comes within a week or a year.

Though hanging onto an opinion while starring at opposite and changed facts has nothing to do with credibility.
