Like many others this offseason, I have been upset with out moves this far, and Ireland should have left with Sparano. But I really don't see how this team is a 2-14 to 4-12 team like many of you think. The D is improved and really only weakness is at safety, but I think a Marshall/Smith combo will work fine. If Matt Moore can play as well as he did last year, or if Garrard ends up coming back to his glory days, this team will most likely be around .500 and have a shot to make the playoffs as long as we catch some breaks.

The holes on the O-line need to be plugged and we all know we need pass catchers. If Fireland can turn water into wine and some how draft some decent playmakers with Philbin, we may have a decent team on our hands.

Home: JAX, TENN, STL, SEA, OAK, BUFF, NYJ, NE

Away: HOU, INDU, SF, ARI, CINCY, BUFF, NYJ, NE

I'll let the draft play out before I judge the offense, but we really should be at worst 2-4/3-3 in the division, and will be in almost every game. I thinnk HOU takes a step back as the lost Mario and Ryan. SF most likely also takes a step back if Alex Smith doesn't stay consistent, even with better WR's.

6-10 is likely again, but don't be surprised if we get lucky and the injury bug hurts some opponents and not us. Good coaching and a solid draft might turn this team into a WC contender

Too bad we'd get crushed in the first round anyway...

I say we go 14-2, losing to NE twice.

That is an easy fuggin schedule forreal...

Not too daunting really. Tough to say how it'll shake out though. Lots of unanswered questions still.

The only teams on that schedule that I think we're legitimately better than are the Bills, Rams, and Jaguars. I don't know about Indy, we'll see how good Luck is as a rookie. I don't know how anyone can think that's an easy schedule for our team. Even a lot of those bad to mediocre teams (like the Seahawks and Jets) aren't exactly cakewalks for what we're working with.

lol people are crying b/c we got rid of marshall basically. if we can grab a solid OL and a few WRs (one of them will emerge) we will be just as good as last year without the horrible start and with an easy sched. its not that much of "the skys falling" type situation. but we will see.

JAX has an easy schedule too. I heard they will make the playoffs after drafting Gabbert and releasing Gerrard. They have a good defense too. I bet youthey are looking for pass rusher with pick number 7. Coples tot he JAGs. Coples will line up at LDE so he can sack Gerrard next time we play them.

JETS and NE will beat us twice. Thats 4 losses right there. Bills will give us trouble with that QB they have that plays like Flynn for 57M.

Easy schedule or not, our offense has been gutted, when you lose your only REAL weapon (and he deserved to go for woman beating) and then make no move to replace him I'm scared. This regime has draft Brian Hartline who is a marginal starter with limited skills, and Patrick Turner who ain't around here because he sucks so much. Also with that extra third we'll probably take john jerry #2 which is scary. Come to think of it, other than safe/reasonable picks in the first round what has ireland done in the 2nd - 4th rounds??? I think he's whiffed much like he has at every single QB he has aquired. Examples, second round Henne, Pat White, Sean I can't tackle Smith, third round we'll get john jerry jr. and the III to make sure.

yeah Matt Moore resurrected a season once for Carolina and then walked in the next year as the starter... how did that one turn out? I wouldn't be too excited about Matt Moore leading this team anywhere as the anointed starter

Mario williams has made the bills defence atleast top 10 or better, and they had NE down 21-0 before the pats came bk to win , and with williams going to buff, NE gets down like that and i just dont see them being able to make a come bk so imo buff is going to be a handfull.
