2014 Coaching Data Base

How about Tony Dungy in the building on a day to day basis as team president and David Shaw as head coach.

Look at Shaw's resume. Son of a coach. Bright guy who went to Stanford and played there. Has coached diverse positions with success. Has coordinated with success. His record as head man is great. Previous experience in the NFL.

I doubt David Shaw leaves Stanford...he's said on several occasions that he's not tempted by the NFL....some guys just prefer college.

Dungy has been offered the chance to be a GM (by Seattle before they hired Pete Carroll) and he wasn't interested. As for Shaw, it's going to be really tough and it has nothing to with the Jon Martin issue (and he has stated Martin is his friend). Shaw is a Stanford grad coaching at his alma mater, and he's continued to build on the success Harbaugh put before him. He also has 3 young kids so moving may not be in the cards for him.

What state do you coach HS lacrosse?

Georgia - though 99% of the teams are in the greater Atlanta area. I coached in college before getting a real job -- now volunteer for local high schools. I've watched the feeder programs, talent base, and number of teams grow exponentially since ~2000.

Our top teams can compete with FL teams, but it would take a special team to compete with Maryland or northeastern teams. If you are in South FL, the cream of the crop would be St. Andrews and I doubt GA teams could hang with them in a normal year.

If Shaw is out of the question, give me jay gruden

If David Shaw is the coach and he brings back Martin....you think I am bad with Joe Philbin, just wait.

Nice.

I played Lax for the best HS in NYS. We are nationally known and win states almost every year. Can you guess which one?

If he wants the job, our next coach is Jon Gruden:

Ross offered him the job straight up last time, and he declined as he wasn't interested in coming back to coaching. Now, however, he seems to want to jump back in.

I sincerely hope Steve Ross will be more discreet and do things the right way this time.

It depends on his feelings on Tannehill. Other than that, it is an ideal job for him. He wouldn't have to move his family far and he wouldn't have to deal with Brady after a year or two.

I've said it before ... Chucky's no nonsense, yet player relating style and Jay's play calling would be a pretty good combo IMO. We know they want to work together so I imagine Jay would have a title like Assistant Head Coach/OC.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Pretty much my thoughts on the matter. My concern right now is that Steve Ross elects to stick with Joe Philbin and we get another year of this bottomless death spiral.

I'll play. But that is a big pool of teams and divisions... St. Anthony's?

Please remove Brian Billick he is not the answer that is for sure. He is a know it all and to arrogant, you think Philbin is stubborn, Get Brian Billiack you'll live to regret it. There are rumor that is why is he let go in Baltimore.
