2014 Free Agency Tracker

We won't be resigning Starks AND Soliai. Also I doubt we move Pouncey to guard, as he just made the Pro Bowl as a center. He's clearly comfortable at center, why change him?
Mack is considered the best center in the NFL. Signing Mack and moving Pouncey would strengthen two positions. If you have a chance to strengthen the team, you do it. Pouncey was projected as a guard anyway and would excel at pulling around the Tackle. Don't get me wrong, I like him at center, but Mack is better.

This is one of the reasons I post PFF stuff. They watch each and every snap a player has played, and many of us, myself included, are focused on Dolphin players, with little attention given to players from other teams. How many snaps from V. Davis did you watch?

Off of the top of my head, at least 7 games. If KC isnt on the tube, INDY/DEN/DAL is. Add I have the Sunday ticket, and INDY was probably the 3rd most watched team in my house.

Couldnt have been to great vs the run.
Id like to know his pressure numbers for the year

There were only 4 DT's/NT's better vs the run, not his fault the LB's did little.

Starks had 4 sacks, 6 hits, and 30 hurries, ranked #8 in pass rush of all NT/DT's. Odrick was #7 with 5- 13- 28 but played 130 more snaps. He's a keeper.

Darren McFadden and Ben Tate graded as negative, I would probably takes these numbers with a grain of salt. Still interested info.

I get what you are saying but, what about the other 9 games? VD played 951 snaps last year. How many did you actually watch him on? IF you are like me, I do not focus on players but just the overall game when watching other teams.

Tate was graded highly in just running the ball (#20 and a +4.6) but, his blocking and receiving were bad, which accounts for his overall grade. McFadden was bad across the board.

Watching them against SF and DEN I did watch quite abit of his work, along with the MIA game. Granted those games were early in the season. But even against KC, his work wasn't anything I haven't seen before from him. Solid on some plays, and mentally short on others.

As for PFF, its another view. But their numbers are nothing that helps pass the eye test. They validate certain things for certain people, and not so much for others.

Davis actually had a good year stat wise compared to his last year here, so......

I made a realistic list, but if Ireland stays than no Davis for sure. It could be done within the cap though.

PFF's numbers are nothing but the eye test, to an extreme. That's where their grades and rankings come from.

taylor mays a target??? hell no

I understand that. Maybe I should have worded it differently. Again PFF validate certain things for certain people, while not so much of others. To me, I have seen enough laughable things from PFF to take what they say....with a grain of salt. The one that got me, was a few years ago, they had Fasano rated highly among TEs. To some it validated their opinion of the moving fridge, while to me and others who seen Fasano as a liability for a young QB, a farce.

Ireland being in Miami will have nothing to do with Davis being in MIA. I would venture to bet, INDY will resign him. After all you don't trade away a pick for a one year rental. But then again that may be too much common sense talking.

OK, let's take Fasano (who I really liked) from a couple years ago. Was he a farce because he was one of the best blocking TE' in the NFL, clutch in the red zone, scored TD's, and had a better average than most TE's.

What young QB wold want that? :)
