I don't know who I want to replace Philbin, I haven't narrowed down to one person, but I know a do want someone who is definitely qualified, who has been a head coach at some level.

I think you can do better than Dave Fipp.

I think Fipp would instantly improve our ST and look after the back end of the roster. WIth both co-ords left to devolp their side of the ball, IMO with Chud & Wade you are looking at both Off & Def being potentially top 10.

Ideally I would love Mike Shanahan as OC. WCO, supposedly liked Tannehill and Benton runs the same O'line scheme, but dont feel he would come as OC.

lol...your dream is to have Wade as DC...that's a freakin nightmare. Maybe you should check Wade Phillips track record. Year 1 is always great....year 2 still good but not as good as year 1...year 3 everything falls apart. It happens to Wade everywhere he goes.

Duffner is doing a pretty good job as linebacker coach but you know the saying. Can't make chicken salad out of chicken poop. I will say Misi was a huge upgrade over Trusnik but Wheeler sucks...he's always sucked no matter what scheme you put him in. That Ireland signing was reminiscent of Gibril Wilson.

We need to continue to develop Tripp and McCain, look for a MLB in the draft and possibly a cheap special teams/backup veteran linebacker next year.

Why Fipp?

John Harbaugh was a special teams guy when the Ravens selected him. But he's a great leader and commander in chief and is more stable than his brother. So, the right ST guy can do it. But does Fipp have that special commanding presence? I'd need to be convinced on that.

I'm done with taking flyers on up and coming "gurus" with no head coaching experience.

I want someone who has been a HC before. Yea I know what people will say. They'll look at their previous record etc.

By taking that logic, Belicheck wouldn't be in New England. Coughlin in New York, or Carroll in Seattle.

All of these fancy shmancy coordinators have really stunk up the place.

Also I want to go back and hire a defensive minded HC. Cameron>Sparano>Philbin? All overrated OC's IMO.

I don't trust Hickey to put together this staff either. Clean house. Aponte too. Anyone who gets in the way of bring the very best candidates to this franchise.

Do whatever it takes. No excuses.

If there was an Andrew Luck coming out in 2016 I'd be all for that. Or we could just bring back Cam Cameron...or better yet just hire Rich Kotite (which is like hiring Rex Ryan lol).
