Just curious now that the majority of the board wants, Ireland, Philbin and Sherman gone (and justifiably so), what are your early GM/coaches/OC candidates?
Would Gruden, Cowher or Dungy be a fit?

I am tired of blowing things up. However, I question Joe's ability to be a NFL coach.

GM: No clue. I just have a feeling that whoever we get, he'll suck, too.

Coach: Jay Gruden. I wanted him two years ago. He's done wonders in Cincinnati, he has head coaching experience (Arena League) and unlike Jon, he doesn't have a ****load of awful baggage.

I am really tired of blowing it up. But Mike Sherman HAS to go. Its best we part with Ireland, too. This was his year to prove himself. it failed. So is it harder to get the right personnel keeping Philbin around? Does Ross give Philbin the power to hire NEW personnel? We saw how that worked with Sherman. OR does Ross find a better GM/Head Coach duo by having that head coaching spot available and being able to bring in two new guys?

Instead of going the college route is there any chance we can emulate KC? Any big name coaches getting fired this year?

If we blow things up(seems to be headed that way), give me a Bill Cowher return to the NFL.

Nubs, we've been praying for him since Wanny. Him and Gruden seem like they either don't want to coach anymore, or they aren't confident enough in their ability to rebuild a team. I want a guy that wants to be here. If there is none, give Philbin another chance, I guess. I will just be sick if we have either Sherman or Ireland here 2014.

Get a proven GM and a young, vibrant NFL assistant coach to be the new head coach. And if we can replace our owner with Folger's crystals, all the better.

Odds are that Cowher isn't coming back, but reportedly Jon Gruden is now ready to make a jump back into the league. It has been said that Ross is a big fan of Gruden so I am sure if we are looking for a new coach that he will definitely get a call. The question becomes though, is Miami, Gruden's best option?

If Ross let's Chucky bring Jay ... he's here quick.

This team, as much as I love them, and as much as I will root for Philbin until he completely tanks, really needs a coach that is charismatic and HAS A PULSE. Wanny was lame. Saban was a d-bag. Jim Bates had that fire but was only interim and wasn't given the job. Sparano had that spark at times but he wasn't very strategically minded. The Dolphins need a coach with an attitude and a coach that gets players fired up. Who that is....I don't know. But as a fan, who has been hopeful and watched this team consistently play piss poor seasons and waste talent, I would like to see someone who is exciting. I really liked Philbin when he stepped in and if he turns this season around....I'll get behind him more. But until I see real potential with the Dolphins from top down...I will not spend ONE DOLLAR on buying a new jersey or other apparel or a ticket to their games. There's a reason why I still rock my old Marino jersey. Would've loved to have had a Welker, Bush, Brees, Ninkovich etc. etc. jersey....but we're pretty good at dumping talented players. That's my short rant. We need SOME EMOTION on this team. Man.....Philbin clapping for the Patriots....that really gets your team FIRED UP.

Can someone do a list of what players are still signed next year, what their salaries are and how much cap space there is? It would be good to know what our new GM and coach will have to work with.

count me in on the Grudens. It just feels so stupid to hope for this because i've done this a few times before.

Kubiak maybe does that excite you.? Lukewarm on that one. I would say Jay Gruden over John. Maybe they would revisit Zimmer but not even sure if he would be interested in coming here anymore, not sure on GM but someone had posted some names Walrus or Spesh maybe?
