2015 NFL All-Purpose Yardage Statistics: JUICE #2

He'll have a pretty short career if we don't stop overusing him.

Landry is the MAN..... he is my WR keeper in my fantasy league for the foreseeable future

If anything we need to get him the ball more. What we do need to do is be smarter with his touches. Dont throw a poor designed screen and say "here juke 11 guys and score". However landry is a playmaker and brings fire to his teammates. I want him lining up in the slot, at hb, wr reverses, kick returner and punt returner. Any chance you get to get him in the open field you take.

Punt returns, kick returns, reverses and receiving...he's getting the ball plenty. He was playing hurt the last 3 or 4 games of the season. Keep giving him that ball like that and he'll have a short career.

I think you understated the issue just a little and fixed your statement.

There's nothing wrong with going to Landry as much as we do. The issue is often the situations that we set up for him like quick screens behind the line of scrimmage. It's like taking 8 or 10 yards for the first down and turning it into 12-15 yards of running after the pass. It's basically a long distance hand off at that point.

Landry needs to be setup to get open down field some. Let's exploit some match ups to create more separation and see if Landry can be utilized more in big play situations, because the guy obviously has an affinity for making something happen.

I agree. Lets lose some of the quick screens and let him get open a bit further down field, which he certainly can do. The only thing you can't assume he'll do is burn someone on a go route....even then he WILL fight for the ball EVERY time.

Maybe we can wrap him in bubble wrap.

Because, you know ...

Once you take them out of their packaging, they lose value.

I don't get what you're saying. We have a playmaker that we should self-limit?!? Why not let the other teams stop him instead of us stopping him?

Well, he does need to get off of Specials...that will shorten his career more then anything else...

I think his looks will go down as well, but I have to believe he will get better looks, so he could end have a bigger impact and be more effective.

There goes one of our wins from last year. He needs to continue returning punts IMO.

I'm against him returning punts if they are going to give him 100 + receptions next year but I don't think that's the case.
In my opinion Parker will be the #1 guy and we'll try to get down field more and run the ball instead of all the short stuff to Landry.
He'll still get 70 - 80 receptions and hopefully more YPC (he was at 10 last year) and if this is the case he could still be the punt returner and occasionally a kick off when we really need a big play.
