With Carroo being drafted, Stills will be a situational receiver.

Albert was also told he will stay at left tackle.

Thats what they say now but Albert is a way better guard then tackle. It will also allow him to stay healthy for a longer period of time.

Tunsil at guard could be worse for the flow and continuity of the O-line.

I hope turner fixed his pass blocking otherwise tannehill is still screwed

I think we're fine if Turner is the weak link. You can always get him help. The problem become having two players, Thomas and Fox, that are struggling worse and need help leaving Turner constantly on his own.

I see Ajayi and Drake sharing the load.

Then I wonder why he's only played tackle in the NFL? Interesting that they've gotten it wrong after all these years...

How is Albert a way better guard than he is a Tackle? That's just a false statement right there. Also how does playing guard make you less likely to get hurt than playing tackle? It doesn't.....Another false statement. I'm not trying to bash you or your thread but C'mon man seriously

Tackles have to play in space and move around where as the guard doesn't have to as much. I agree that a switch to guard for Albert will extend his career. I don't agree however that he is better guard than tackle , seeing how he's a damn good left tackle in the nfl.

If there is evidence that Tackles get hurt more than guards I would like to see it. Until then I'm going with I doubt it

At that point other factors kick in, some players are more prone to injury then others. Im sure theres a base view we can look at that compares how many injuries to guards vs tackles there have been since a given point in time, but once again it won't be much of help seeing how it doesn't really analyze every aspect of the player itself.

Watch the video of when Albert got drafted in the first round by Kansas City. Then talk to me mega-fin-love. Trust me he is a pro-bowl tackle but if you can put him at guard and still have a pro-bowl player and extend his playing career "by that means staying healthy" you have to take that into consideration. Why not have have an All-Pro guard Albert and then Tunsil at LT where he excelled and was considered the top LT in the draft and the Number 1 overall player on some peoples boards. Think about it man, Tunsil / Albert / Pouncy on the left side protecting Tannehills blind side that sounds pretty damn nice. Laremy Tunsil's initials are LT for a reason. Plus Albert can pull, for a guard that is a major component for the running game. The good thing about moving Albert to guard is 1. He should stay healthy. 2. It will make it easier to restructure his mega contract because guards don't get paid the money Albert is getting payed now. 3. He will make Tunsil's transition to the NFL easier. Have to look a few steps ahead because that's how winning is done.

He is always the best player on the line when healthy that's why he always plays LT. Moving him to guard should protect his health and he is getting older and when you get older more injuries often appear. That's why I laugh when Tom Brady thinks he can play into his mid-late 40's

Guards always have a longer career then tackles there has to be an accurate ratio to back up my facts.
