I think Dion Jordan is still under contract due to the suspensions. I'd keep him around as the 4th DE in the rotation. OTC has him at $3.225M. Worse case you cut him in cap and get all that money back.
Andre Branch I definitely want back, he's been a great fit for the wide-9. But he's a one year wonder so that has to be factored into consideration. A 4 year pact between 32-36M is as rich as I'd go. He's pretty key, since we're going to be very thin at the position. Either way DE is probably the top need entering the draft.
I'd bring Sam Young back. Shockingly he's performed well when called upon and we need a swing-tackle. He'll make near the minimum.
The combination of Sims and Gray is what I'd like back. Gray should cost near the minimum. Blocking TE's like Sims generally don't make more than about $3.5M but he's shown more as a pass catcher, so I'd bump him to $4.5M over 3 or 4 years. Really like both these guys.
We've got a lot of depth at safety, but Thomas is too valuable on special teams and is a great locker-room guy who can play in a pinch. Between Jones, IAQ, Rambo and Aikens he might be tough to fit in tho. Rambo isn't listed here, but I'd bring him back for cheap if we can. But you're going to need to move on from one of Rambo, Aikens or Thomas more than likely. I'd let them sort that out in camp and probably pick between Thomas and Aikens.
Kenny Stills is definitely a guy we want to keep around. I don't think he's going to get a crazy contract like some of thrown around. I wouldn't go higher than $7M annually, but I think he can be had for something like 3-4 years @ $6-$6.5M annually.
John Denney I guess. If you can find a guy to do his job for cheaper fine by me.
I'd keep Butler over Paysinger, but would also bring Paysinger into camp at the league-min
For the RFA's I'd probably give Williams an original round tender. Same with Steen. I'd consider giving Alonso a 1st round tender, but would lean towards a 2nd round tender. Then if a team really wants him we can have them write out a contract and see if he's worth keeping. A 2nd round pick is very valuable otherwise. I personally don't think someone would make a bid on it with the 2nd rounder that would be prohibitive. Hull and Pitts would get their ERFA tenders.
Keep: Branch, Stills, Sims, Young, Rambo, Alonso, Jordan, Gray, Steen, Pitts, Hull, Williams, Denney, Butler, Paysinger, Thomas
Walk:: Cameron, Jones, Bushrod, Yates, Jones, Jenkins, Williams
That would bring you up to 52 players. If Butler, Paysinger or Thomas make more than league-min they can walk.
