2018 Class Shows Promise

I didn't think about it, but all 8 players from last year's class is back and most are contributing. This might be one of the best drafts we've had in awhile, HOPEFULLY. That class maybe our starting point to success.

I think 2016 draft class with Tunsil and X was the starting point to success.

If they all stick around it would be a great class. Fritz, G, Durham, Ballage, Baker, armstrong and sanders all contributed last year, Poling was the only one not to take a major step last year at a position of real need. Now he has Andrew Van Ginkel from this class to content with. But everyone else basically bit, as Parcell's would say, as puppies.

He just didn't have that juice we all thought he'd bring. I kept waiting, but it never happened.

Baker is the big surprise so far. He really looks like a new age LB thus far.

Yea Gesicki, despite my doubts fulfilling his potential, would be incredible. Looking firward to Smythe and of course year two of Minkah.

Fans weren't all that happy right after the draft - we moved up 4 spots in the 2nd round to draft Xavian Howard and it cost us a 4th round pick we also gave up next years 3rd 4th to draft Leonte Carroo -

We also landed Tunsil, X, Drake, Grant

That was a pretty good class for us. We didn't have as many contribute they're first year as we did the 2018 class, but no doubt 4 contributors from that class still on the team and one WR still trying to move up. Maybe we are getting better at ID'ing talent.

I'm noticing a lot of pro-Gesicki sentiment. What have you seen or heard that is contributing to this, or is it just being hopeful?
