Feel kind of silly posting this today, but as I started this, I'm going to finish it!
- I guess it was fitting that the Dolphins got blown out on the road to end the season. That's been the story of Adam Gase's time in Miami. A pretty good team at home that has been blown out of the building in road games all too often. It's been frustrating, that's for sure.
- The Dolphins will finish the season just 5 points shy of the most surrendered all time by the franchise. Truth be told, Buffalo could have put us over the top today, but Sean McDermott decided to save Matt Burke and Adam Gase that humiliation today. The only extra business they gave Miami today involved a vanity pass to Kyle Williams.
- I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that Buffalo completely throttled Miami today. I think a 10 point loss would have been about right for Steve Ross to keep the right mix of anger, frustration, and disappointment to evaluate things with a level head. After this absolute blowout? I think that Ross might be much more inclined to do something bold here. Bold can be rash. We'll see. I personally think that a bold move is needed now.
- What I do know is that if Miami is going to move on from Adam Gase, there must be a strong plan in place to replace him and move forward. My plan A would be to attempt to land John Harbaugh. My plan B would be to make an even more desperate attempt to land John Harbaugh. After that, well, Urban Meyer may be a scumbag, but that man can coach.
- It was a disappointing season, but like all of you, I'll be back watching these guys in September and hoping they can get it together for once. I guess that's why they call us fan-atics.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I wish everyone a Happy New Year!
With that said, let's everyone get your poster callouts, hot takes, and snarky passive aggressive snipes at other posters out of the way before January 1st. Because 2019 deserves to start off better than that.
