BobDole if you won the presidency what would have been your foreign policy and also how would you have helped all the homeless veterans of this great nation?
Great question Super. Thanks for asking.
The Bob Dole campaign believes in more of an isolationist foreign policy. Not that the US should shut itself off from the rest of the world, but more along the lines of not being the world's policeman. I believe there are plenty of domestic issues to concern ourselves with while not dumping trillions of dollars into trying to create puppet regimes all across the world. When was the last time that worked out?
The veteran homeless situation is directly tied to mental health issues as a result of war (depression, PTSD, survivor's guilt, etc) and the lack of psychological treatment given to those who desperately need it. Less war and more counseling would be my short answer to a question that deserves an in depth discussion and solution.
