I just wanted to start a thread for players that we may target in the free agency period. I am leaving some of the more obvious guys off of the list and am looking for some of the ones that don't get as much coverage but could be a good fit.

Za'Darius Smith- had a good year for the Ravens as an OLB and finished the year with 8.5 sacks and also improved vs. the run. Still young as well

Preston Smith- OLB for the Redskins. creates a lot of pressure and has the size to play off the edge in multiple schemes

John Simon- a very quiet and good pickup for New England this year. He is more of a rotational and depth piece but is familiar with the system and wouldn't cost a ton

Justin Coleman- Has been a good player for Seattle the last couple of years and can play in the slot and on the boundary

Feel free to add to this list as more free agents become available.

I hope Miami doesnt sign anyone to be quite honest.

One thing that I am pretty sure about after reading articles about Grier and Flores, the Fins will not being chasing any older high priced free agents. I was reading some stats (I can't remember the site) which showed we were in the top 5 of oldest average players. The only high priced player I could see them grab is a quarterback.

Think Flowers is signed here. He is familiar with the coach and will fit into the defense they are installing. He is young and we are losing two DE’s from cuts and Wake possibly in FA. So I see them investing in him.

John Simon’s intensity and attitude would be a huge plus at a bargain price.

Flowers ( obviously )
Golden Tate
Sheldon Richardson

Like Ricky said, Flowers would be the big get. It makes a lot of sense from a familiarity standpoint, age, need, and integral chess piece.

I would definitely get behind that, especially after purging some of these bad contracts (Branch is just the beginning). Some big changes coming.
