This is not meant to be predictive, just food for thought.

To say the Dolphins roster is fluid, is a gross under-statement. The Dolphins situation isn't just fluid, it's like a mighty rushing river.

I'm expecting at least two more trades before the deadline, and I am going to go with Dolphins having ? picks when the comp picks are announced. I don't think anyone really expects the Dolphins to actually use all those picks; there will be trades.

I know this a controversial thing to even say lightly, but I expect Rosen to traded before the deadline, injuries happen. I am of the opinion that Flores wasn't in favor of the acquisition. I don't think this coaching staff is seeing him as the future. Yes,yes he has all the gifting, and talent, and skills to be an NFL starter, but they might just not see him as an ideal fit for what they want to do. I think if the right situation develops the Dolphins may be able to recover a 2nd for him.

The way things are going here, I could see Drake and Raekwon McMillan both being traded before the deadline. The Dolphins wouldn't move them unless the compensation is good.

Of course they are trading Jones if there is an offer. Don't see it happening.

If Albert Wilson chooses to piss off the owner like his buddy Kenny, he will probably be dealt as well. That would really suck.

For this look I'm adding two more 3rd round picks and removing Drake and McMillan from the 2020 roster.

If Kilgore hasn't already been released, he will be sooner, rather than lately. Boehm is waaayyyy better and is young. Boehm starts at center and Chris Reed competes at RG, and is the backup center. Dolphins will have to pay Boehm in 2020 if he stays healthy and plays at least as good as he did last year.

Free Agency: Jones is the word. If by some miracle both Byron Jones of the Cowboys and Chris Jones of the Chiefs actually hit free agency, these are the kind of freak athletes that sometimes remain effective well into their 30's, and both of these guys are still very young. Cowboys are headed straight for cap Hell with the Dak and Elliott deals, and Amari Cooper is a free agent as well. Byron Jones has a legitimate chance of reaching free agency and I don't care what anybody says, he is better than X. Chris Jones would probably be tagged and traded if the Chiefs are concerned about the inevitable 40 mil a year deal coming soon to Mahomes. Tyreek Hill is rumored to be getting a record setting contract as well.

Chris Jones is a beast and was ranked 5th DI in the league by PFF. Byron Jones ranked 12th and would give the Dolphins the best CB trio in the NFL. I would trade the 2021 1st rounder for Chris Jones in a heartbeat, if it came to that.

The Patriots may not be willing to give Joe Thuney top dollar. Dolphins, with all the familiarity and almost unlimited cap space could just land him. LG

Both the Titans and the Seahawks are going to have a starting quality RT available if Jesse Davis doesn't workout. Neither of these teams are going to pay two RT's good money. In Seattle it's either Fant or Ifedi. In Tennessee it's either Conklin or Reed. Joe Haeg is also a free agent who has played all over the line for the Colts and is an underrated OT. He got dinged by critics for his play at OG. He isn't a OG.

A'Shawn Robinson might hit free agency. He would a bona fide NT in this defense. There is a knee concern, but he ranked 11th last year among interior defenders. Dolphins could possibly have an elite interior DL to gowith the league best secondary.

So you don't think Rosen will be on the roster?

If we take Justin Herbert then we just drafted a bust and the rebuild was for nothing lol.

Just because a player hasn't learned how to handle pressure by their junior year in college doesn't mean it's going to be that way after a few seasons of learning at the NFL level. This is an area that coaching and experience can improve. I think Herbert will be just fine after a few seasons of NFL grooming and playin an NFL system. I wouldn't expect him to come out looking fully polished it's going to take some work.

I agree...so long as that experience and grooming doesn't take place here I'm all for it.

When you have the first pick, you don't take a weaker qb.

You take the best one available. What Tua possesses is NFL quality already.

My thing with college qbs is a player like Tua might be the better prospect, but a lesser qb in the right situation with the right coaching and talent around him could be equally or even more productive.
