I like Hopkins as a 2nd rounder(hopefully later)but I think if Miami goes TE they will want a better blocker,

Personally, I am intrigued with having multiple shifty pass catching TE's. Big WR's really, who can create mismatches.

But there are much bigger needs at important spots to address first so if any TE is taken it will probably be a Day 3 pick.A guy like Breeland or Pinckney maybe.

I know it’s vogue to complain about the TE class even when it’s good...but this is not a good TE class.

Not a great class. If you’re looking for a day 3ish guy to come in and be a blocker or a #3 type TE - I’d look at Kyle Markway. Best blocking TE I’ve seen out of all these kids. Doesn’t offer much as a pass catcher but flat out gets after it in the blocking aspect.

Moss was smart to come out this year in a really down year of TE talent and having a ton of name recognition coming off that season.

With the Penn State kid, the UF kid and the Miami kid, the top part of the TE class looks really good.

On tape Thaddeus Moss is more physical than people think, especially in this not so physical TE class. Also didn’t drop a single pass this season.

I like Kmet a lot. His combination of size and athleticism is encouraging, and his baseball background and late focus on football points to a lot of room for growth. High ceiling, high floor.

Agree that Trautman is #2, but I think he's just fine, not particularly exciting. Outside of Hockenson, Fant, and Moreau, I thought the 2019 TE's were pretty overrated, but it was a MUCH better group than this one. Because the class is so bad, and because the two best TE's in the NFL were both in the SB, I'd expect Kmet to go pretty early - somewhere between 20-32.

I was hoping Trautman would be around in the later rounds, Bryant (FAU) too. Doesn't seem likely now.

Asiasi is my sleeper pick now.

I Like Kmet too, but I have him second behind Okwuegbunam. The only two TEs worth drafting on day 1 and 2. Trautman on day 3 because he's a small school player, and then Breeland as the last draftable TE.

I'm hoping the addition of Michael Roberts helps as a blocking te, if that's the case I wouldn't mind looking at Jaob Breeland, Harrison Bryant or Cheyenne O'Grady as depth at the receiving te spot behind Gesicki. Maybe even COlby Parkenson as a big receiving target.

Wait, There are TEs in this years draft class?

Kmet looks like a legit all around TE but Miami can't use such an early pick(late 1st-mid 2nd)on that position.
