2021 defensive draft prospects Miami Dolphins should avoid

I like Tyler Shelvin. However, Davis added some weight (he was listed at 330 during the season) and I really don’t see us drafting another low upside pass rusher. Also, not being able to beat Dickerson really isn’t a massive red flag; that kid is an absolute beast when healthy.
 
I'm skeptical of Zaven Collins because of level of competition.

Micah Parsons as a Kuechly clone.

I'm even starting to question Surtain's speed (I know!)

Rousseau's body of work, etc...

I don't really like this class defensively.

Yeah it seems like a lot of the prospects in rounds 2-3 could make just as much of an impact as projected 1st rounders, especially at LB and edge rusher.

I don't see a ton of truly elite defensive prospects in this draft..no Chase Young-type talent.

The one that look like he was jogging the entire time?

Yeah, his tape wasn't looking so hot already this season and Smith abused him.
Definitely looks like a Safety prospect at this point than CB
 
These never age well. I remember reading here how Miami should avoid Josh Allen, Justin Herbert and Lamar Jackson because they were each destined to be bust. The only thing fans are worse at than picking which players will be studs is picking which players will bust.

I'm just saying we fans don't tend to do a good job in saying who's going to be a bust. Odds are half of the names you see mentioned here as players to avoid will end up being decent players.

Yes thats him but he is expecting to be a mid round pick. He had a a bad game he also made some plays too.
 
I agree with this to some aspect.

No way am I drafting Selvin in the 1st 3 rounds.4th is a good spot though.

Holland didn't impress me to much.I like Morrigan and Cisco more.Cisco is my target hopefully. He seems like a good fit.

A lot of the article was based on fit in Miami, not necessarily that they will be total failures.
