2022 International games exclude Fins!

Not so fast... the article I just read on the NFL website says that the opponents for those games have not been determined yet. We all know that Ross always volunteers the Fins for overseas games in exchange for the chance to host Super Bowls.

"Opposing teams, dates and kickoff times will be announced in conjunction with the full 2022 schedule announcement later this year."

I don’t think (could be, and often am, wrong) the Dolphins play any of those teams as visitors

We haven't fared to well in those games.
Apophenia. We lost the London game by a snail fart. There is no connection between how we've played in foreign games to how we'll play in future foreign games. I just hope we stay here because that's a lot of travel and headache. If Europe wants NFL that bad they should fire up a few teams.

Last year in 2021, along with adding the 17th game to the schedule, the NFL teams agreed that each team would play an overseas game at least once every 8 years. It used to be a requirement to host the superbowl that you had to play overseas within 5 years. Now that all teams are required to, the superbowl host team requirement got dropped.

Miami hosted the Superbowl in 2020, so the 2021 game was probably obligation from that (and Miami has probably fulfilled its overseas requirement until 2028-9 unless they restart the clock).

PS Jaguars had a partnership with the English Football Association to play in London for multiple seasons, even though that reportedly expired in 2020, it appears they keep volunteering for the game.

Jacksonville overseas last year must've been considered a Home game because it looks like we have 8 Home games this year vs 9 Road.

That's actually one thing I absolutely HATE about the 17 game schedule.

Teams will always have an uneven number of home/away games, and in a sport where home field actually matters a lot and playoff berths are often decided by one game or tiebreaker, thats total bullshit.
