Indeed. They've had some bad coaches. But that roster is littered with talent. Razorbacks always have talent.

They recruit Texas and Louisiana well - two of the best states in the country to grab elite players.

Arkansas looked like a top 5 team in the SEC most of last year despite their record. They played Georgia tough in the opener for the first 3 quarters until it came unraveled in the 4th. They actually led at halftime. Played Florida tough for 3 quarters. Beat Ole Miss. Almost beat Auburn, Texas A&M, LSU & Missouri.

They'll beat some folks this season. Sarkisian and Texas better be ready week 2 when they go to Fayetteville.

Bubba Bolden? I've seen him being a 1st round mock for 2022. What are your thoughts on him?

That's probably a little rich for me. I have him with a Day 2 grade heading into this season. He'll have to improve substantially in pass coverage from last season to be a 1st round pick. He was especially bad against Virginia Tech.

Long and rangy with terrific speed. Excellent range all over the field. Looks like he has 4.4 speed to me.

I like his instincts and quick trigger. Accurate striker that forces a number of fumbles because he's able to draw an accurate bead on the football and jar it loose. However, I'd like to see him take better angles. His tackles are ankle tackles in the open field and you just can't rely on that at the next level. I'd like to see him break down and square up more to get his head across. Drips athleticism - I just want to see better fundamentals. Keep proving that he's matured off the field from his USC days.

In terms of pure upside if they were to actually realize their potential - I like Bolden and Trey Dean the most on this list. But you have to go out and do it. I pay attention to consistency. Ol' Patchy is always watching....

A lot of safeties did not fully test, and the ones that did, did not perform.
Kyle Hamilton for all the hype looks like a linebacker, and not necessarily a top value either.
The only safety Id be interested in is Tycen Anderson, TOL. He tested, and tested well. Day 2 value, but given our needs, Id consider him on Day 3. Otherwise, not interested in this safeties class.
