Cox was in the way more than he was making plays last season. Not very assignment sound with average bend on the edge. I believe him coming back for his senior year was why all the more talented rush lbers behind him transferred out. He shouldn't have been starting last year ... think his daddy and legacy were the reasons why.

There’s not a linebacker in the country better at covering backs and TE’s out of the backfield and on those sneaky, devastating wheel routes than Amari Burney.

I just watched Ivan Pace Jr tonight. He was all over the field. I liked how he read the offenses and reacted.

Yes he’s always been a very productive linebacker. Very instinctive. Think he had about 7 sacks as a freshman.

He transferred this year from Miami (OH) to play with his brother at Cincinnati.

Ideally you’d like him to have a little more length for the next level, but he’ll outplay a bunch that do have it. He’ll stick on a roster somewhere in the NFL and produce in the right system that keeps him clean.

His game and tackling tend to drop off when he has to run too far outside the box and finds himself in space.

If we continue playing 4 deep shells then CBs become expendable. We can dump X and Jones for whatever picks we can get as long as the taker eats the salary and we can just play Kohou and some other value guy who can tackle in the open field and get a LB to replace Roberts and we're good. Kohou types (short, not very fast) are enough if you play 4 deep.

I think a LB who can play zone and tackle in the open field should be our priority on defense based on what the Broncos, 49ers, Browns and Jets are running.

I think Jones is good as gone with the continued progression of Kadou.

X will be back next season by the looks of it.

Charlie Thomas out of GT tested really well for strong safety, he should move to SS. I don't think he has a chance as a LB with that frame, 207.

We’ll Pache your two top guys we’re the two top guys at the combine right beside Trenton Simpson

I can't imagine taking any of these guys with our Day 2 picks.

On Day 3 (hoping we somehow acquire more picks), a few of my favorites are:

Henry T (4th)
Dorian (4th)
Pace (5th)
Dee Williams (6th)

Overshown and Pappoe are freaks but I don't think they have the instincts; not for me

I have to look into Dee Williams. Dont know much about him
