2025 Cap Update

There is always a way it's just that Grier loses the way
Actually, as far as Cap management Grier/Shore have done a pretty good job.

One can disagree with specific personnel moves, but from a strictly cap numbers and dead $ standpoint, there are far worse organizations

very true, we've always been good at that (Ross is a businessman and seems to hire the right people here)

I hate that word (restructuring)........grier has to do that to make up for all his bad decisions in free agency and trades.
The thing is every team does it. It's the way the game is played. To not do it would be a relative disadvantage.

That being said, it's important to be prudent in the approach. Some restructuring makes sense. Some not so much if it's out of desperation.

I know every team does it but this has come back to bite us too many times.....once again I'll say this....if you draft well, it'll help with everything else......when you continue to waste your picks then everything else is harder.

Certainly agree about the need to draft well.

I think Grier has done an excellent job managing the cap. He seems to always have ways to gain cap space, as well as, continuing to keep Miami out of cap hell. Unfortunately it's his F/A moves that have hurt the team. In addition to making the ill advised trade and contract extension to Chubb. A player who was an injury risk.

As for the tweet above, I'd love to see Miami extend Seiler instead of restructuring him.

How many people do we actually have signed right now to be $3 under. We could possibly only have like 10 players signed. I don't know
