#22 Mitchell got burned on all three TDs'

That guy Mitchell is horrible, i hope he gets cut asap. All of the long passes and touchdowns where thrown at the man he was covering. It was bad enough that he let the man make the catch, but then he couldn't make the tackle and the guy was gone. Here is my question was i the only one that noticed. In addition those tickets inside of the visitors dugout are awsome, for only $315.00. Thank god i got them for free, I paid the same amount for my nosebleeds season tickets. LOL

He sure had his bad moment's last night.I noticed he was caught out of postion to make a play several time's.The first one Will Allen was also involved in the coverage.

Your right he did i almost forgot, it was that 60 yard TD. However i still think Mitchell sucks. It really showed last night, he can't cover or tackle. I would be suprised if he makes the team.

Practice is one thing phin. When the lights are on is a diffrent story. Once they got that big play on him they just kept going after him. And he kept giving up big plays. He just looked lost all the time.

mitchell can be a big talent, he was top three rounds if he did not blow out the ACL in the combine, we have four weeks, the team is alot better then last year first game

On a few of the long plays, Jason Allen was out of position and should have been helping Mitchell, but I agree. #22 consistently stood out by being burnt on every play!

Exactly! He is essentially a rookie, even though we signed him last year. He has fine physical skills and may be our fastest DB except for Jason Allen. It would be a close race either way.
Give him some time to knock the rust off and get acclimated to the pro game.

Mitchell is really a rookie in terms of years played, and the extended time off from playing makes that even worse. Plus, it's a hard defense to learn. So, all things considered, I'm giving the guy a little leeway. I hope that when it's time for him to actually play, he's fixed his mistakes.
