24 Hours!!!!!

In 24 hours, we will know what QB will be leading our beloved Dolphins for at least the next 5 years!!! I don't know about any of you, but I'm not getting any sleep tonight!!!

As far as who, I'll take either one: Brees or Culpepper. They both are HUGE upgrades over Huard, Fiedler, Rosenfels, Frerotte!!

My gut tells me we are gonna get Culpepper. I just think his injury is less of a risk because it doesn't involve his arm. Also, his arm would better fit our system because it is MUCH stronger.

Either way, IN SABAN I TRUST!!!!
 
i hear you....only thing is right now there is a "cool brees" coming thru my window so thats sign telling me who the new QB will be tomorrow.

Brees or Culpepper would be great! I'm eager to see what happens with our Qb situation
 
Can't wait for this to be over! One or the other hopefully, and hopefully, before 9pm when the Soprano's start their new season :lol:
 
It sounds like the Fins told other free agents to be patient, until the qb situation is settled. If the Fins are lucky, maybe tomorrow/Sunday, the Fins will be what the Browns were today. Hope anyways!
 
It looks like the Saints will be able to throw alot more guaranteed dollars at Brees than the Dolphins can match. Perhaps that is why they intensified their talks with Culpepper. Based on the latest reports I would say it's 60% chance we end up with Culpepper and 40% chance we get Brees.
 
The next 24 hours will determine whether or not I remain a fan of a team I have loved for 35 years.

I will never support a troublemaker like culp leading this team and I will have nothing to do with a team that gives its QB reins to someone with those issues. He is not a leader, he is being run out of Minnesota because they don't want him poisoning their well anymore and Saban himself was reported to be against getting him weeks ago over such issues. I can only hope against hope that Brees comes to us because if they get culp I am done with them.

I haven't argued, I haven't attacked anyone, and I haven't carried this discussion into areas that wouldn't be appropriate. I am just stating a fact: I despise the guy and I won't have anything to do with him or a team he plays for.

If we get Brees I will be the happiest guy on this board. He is a hard worker and a team leader, EXACTLY what we need. I am impressed that Saban went after him this morning, at least we all know that he is our #1 guy. I didn't see Saban jumping on any planes to Minneapolis. That says something.

I just wish that Saban would examine ALL options before getting damaged goods with attitude and legal troubles. I would take, literally, ANYTHING at this point rather than culp. Bring in anyone you want, except for him, and that's OK. He is NOT the franchise QB and leader we want, and a team with him playing QB isn't winning anything. You can take that to the bank.

That's because Daunte is in Miami rehabbing his knee. He has been for the past couple months; and by the way Saban did go see Culpepper today in between rounds with free agent meetings. I'm sure we will all miss you as a Dolfan tommorrow if it doesn't pan out the way you like it man! Saban will be crying also over your decision!!

personally, character issues in players aren't a factor in my opinions of them. culpepper can do w/e the heck he wants to any girls/ guys/ sluts/ knives wifes, nuns, i don't care. take my fins to a superbowl and do w/e you want!

It will come down to $$$$$. Whether the team can afford the price tag for Brees without strapping the teams ability to sign other free agents under the salary cap.

I agree - I believe the Saints will throw a lot of guaranteed money at Brees, and he'll end up there. That'll leave us with Culpepper as our best option and hopefully we can get him cheap (3rd round pick or lower). Either quarterback would be an upgrade for the Dolphins, and I'm excited to see who it'll be!

How about we end up signing Brees, and Jay Cutler somehow drops to the 16th pick in the draft...hey, a guy can dream!

You need to at least give Saban a chance to turn Culpepper around if that's how he really is. I think either Brees or Culpepper will be an upgrade at QB, so I'm just excited to see who we're going to get.

Sounds like your hatred for Culpepper outweighs your longtime love for the Dolphins!!! C'mon man, IN SABAN WE TRUST!!!
