Make it a 2 possession game, go for 2 again and you're only down 1 possession. Huge difference on that final drive if we're down 27-19 instead of 27-17
27-9 go for 2?

I dont have a problem with kicking the extra point there.
1)Too early to chase points.
2) Unless you think you are really going to hold Houston to 27 the rest of the game, its pointless. Kick the extra point there. There was still a lot of time and at least 5 possessions left for our team.
Now punting down 3 possessions at midfield on 3rd and 6 to start the 4th qtr. Thats a different story. Punting down 10 with 5:30 left was stupid too.

I'm more disappointed by the 54 or 56 yard field goal attempt rather than go for it on 4th and 3...
Plus, say we went for 2 after both TDs, and missed both, then we'd have been down 27-15 (down 2 TDs) vs 27-17 (down a TD + FG).

If they went for 2 and missed after the first td, they would have kicked the xtra point after the 2nd td. So it would have been 27-16, still within a fg, td and 2 point conversion. Essentially nothing would have changed on their final drive, they would have kicked the fg to make it 27-19 and go for the onside kick.
