Our second half football has been so ridiculously boring and I'm loving every minute of it. It's like we suck the life out of our opponents so that in the second half, they already feel defeated.

Has anyone else noticed that? I mean Chargers were down 6 and they just completely deflated as if we were up 20.

I cannot believe we're literally watching the Dolphins convert from a basement team to a perennial playoff team for years to come right before our eyes. I've waited 20 years for this!!

I've said this before but I'm still somewhat in disbelief about the state of our franchise. I don't know if it's from 20 plus years of mediocrity and letdown but Its hard to process success. Just very unfamiliar. Even when we have had success in the past, it felt nothing like it does now.

I’m just enjoying the smart football calls in the second half. Yes it’s no flashy but there is less chance for failures and you kill the clock.

This is what smart coaching staffs do. Cut back on the risk; milk the clock; slowly strangle the game. It might be boring, but it works.

Yes, you can't do it vs. a team like the Chiefs... teams that can score that fast have to be handled a bit more respectfully, but you still want to work the clock. Taking a 4 yard sack is smarter than throwing the ball away.

I've noticed today that there is alot of coverage of us which is nice. I don't like that they are saying Tua is not doing enough when I honestly don't know what game these people are watching.

Every time he goes in there there is a chance where he can drive us for a score, which we have not had in a LONG time.

they are NOT watching the games, the are reading stats

Like always the talking heads will say he isn’t doing a lot but then will also admit he doesn’t need to.

Yes, that is how it works imbeciles.

And with your post it hit me we've been on the other side of these "boring" 2nd halfs alot in the last decade. Watching the clock go down, hoping to get within one score, going one dimensional, making dumb mistakes to kill drives.

That Patriots won their first Super Bowl exactly like this.

There is no shame in not throwing up crazy offensive stats if you are winning. Flores is winning every drive, even if the play calling gets conservative late. Take the points, trust the defense and win all the micro battles it takes to build a competitive football team.

It's very disheartening...

I was a HS referee for years and have been on-field for hundreds of games over the years... and you can see it in the other team's eyes. This is usually when the fights started.

Boring??!? What games are you watching ??? We’re playing smart football. Mistake free football in the second halves
What are you not getting here? It’s not Maddens football we’re trying to duplicate, trying to win games

Think you totally missed what the OP is saying. I believe he is referring to us not putting up a lot of points, flashy plays or taking chances in the second half because we don't have to. We are playing with leads not so we just playing solid fundamental football, hence him saying he loves it.

I did miss the second part of that and I actually read it wrong. My apologies OP
