do we have a 2nd rounder this year, or is that the pic we gave up for pep?

if we do...jon beason just declared from university of miami....do we take him in the second if he's available? young linebacker....just a '?'

thoughts?

We still have our 2nd round pick, we gave up our 2nd last year.

phew thanks, i thought so...i was hoping we did, so i didnt get burned on this thread...haha..

although i still might with the jon beason thought...but hey, just throwin it out there

Miami Dolphins 2007 Draft Picks:
Round 1: 9th overall - #9th
Round 2: 7th overall - #39th
Round 3: 8th overall - #72nd
Round 4: 9th overall - #106th
Round 6: 8th overall - #177th
Round 7: 9th overall - #217th

Scott Wright has him as the number 3 OLB behind Poz, and Timmons. As of right now, he's a mid to late first rounder, but with all the teams that need LBs, and a good combine, he could raise.

i heard Tavaris Gooden is coming out, too. He is a work out machine, and will shoot up draftboards with his combine #'s

I say in the second we take a CB. I do not know who but sombody that can shut down other teams best WR's.:dolphins:

I like the Left Tackle Joe Staley. Him or Aaron Sears if he's still on the board

I Like Beason and Timmons for a 2nd rd pick. If we could pull a trade to get another 2nd rd pic (i know far fetched) but that would be lovely to get both of them.

In the 2nd ... I'd kinda like to see Dan Mozes (All-American Center from WVU)

Not really a crack on Hadnot, I just think he is better suited at guard.

Mozes isn't rated nearly that high right now, a lot of people think he'll need to go somewhere with a zone blocking scheme.
