Trades that take place: Houston Texans trade 1st pick to the NYJs for picks 4th, 29th and 2007 2nd round pick Reason: Leinart is a QB that can come in right away, he has the big name for the big apple. He is the best QB and one of the safer best in the draft. He will be their “brady†For Houston they get more picks to fill holes and can get value in their Offensive line problem San Francisco 49ers trade 6th pick to Minnesota Vikings for the 16th pick, 2nd round pick and 2007 1st round pick Reason: SF gets to move backwards and pick up extra picks for holes. They get an OLB of the future to replace Peterson and get more depth in later picks. Minn gets their QB of the future as 37 year old Chad aint it. Miami Dolphins trade 16th pick to Jacksonville Jaguars for pick 29th and 2nd round pick and a 5th round pick Reason: Miami will be looking to move back for more picks as they are down to 2 on the first day. Jacksonville gets to jump up 13 picks to pick up one of the top Running backs in the draft. No way he would reach them and the value is good for the move up. Miami moves back and takes a risky pick for a CB with high potential. Hill doesn’t have the height for Saban’s system. 1 New York Jets (f/Texans) – Matt Leinart QB USC 2 New Orleans Saints – AJ Hawk LB Ohio State 3 Tennessee Titans – Jay Cutler QB Vandy 4 Houston Texans (f/Jets) – D’Brickshaw Fergusan LT Virgina 5 Green Bay Packers – Mario Williams DE NCS 6 Minnesota Vikings (f/49ers) – Vince Young QB Texas 7 Oakland Raiders – Vernan Davis TE Maryland 8 Buffalo Bills – Haloti Ngata NT Oregon 9 Detriot Lions – Michael Huff DB Texas 10 Arizona Cardinals – Winston Justice OT USC 11 St. Louis Rams – Brodrick Bunkley DT FSU 12 Cleveland Browns – Bobby Carpenter OLB Ohio State 13 Baltimore Ravens – Jimmy Williams DB Virgina Tech 14 Philadelphia Eagles – Ernie sims LB FSU 15 Denver Browns (f/falcons) – Chad Jackson WR UF 16 Jacksonville Jaguars (f/Dolphins) - DeAngelo Williams RB Memphis 17 San Francisco 49ers (f/Vikings) – Manny Lawson OLB NCS 18 Dallas Cowboys – Donte Whitner S Ohio State 19 San Diego Chargers – Marcus McNeil OT auburn 20 Kansas City Chiefs – Tye Hill CB Clemson 21 New England Patriots – Lendale White RB USC 22 Denver Browns (f/redskins) - Mathias Kiwanuka DE BC 23 Tampa Bay Bucs – Eric Winston OT UM 24 Cincinnati Bengals – Ko Simpson S SC 25 New York Giants – Chad Greenway OLB Iowa 26 Chicago Bears – Leonard Pope TE Georgia 27 Carolina Panthers – Santonio Holmes WR Ohio State 28 Miami Dolphins (f/Jaguars) – Antonio Cromartie CB FSU 29 Houston Texans (f/jets) – Nick Mangold C Ohio State 30 Indianapolis Colts – Laurence Maroney RB Minnesota 31 Seattle Seahawks – Davin Joseph OG Oklahoma

thats kinda hard to read, but you seemed to have forgotten one of the top prospects in the entire draft... cause i know you didn't purposely think reggie bush would drop to the 2nd round, haha...

Rumor has it, that after a poor combine and workouts, Bush's stock has been dropping dramatically... he is barely holding off Marcus Vick for biggest name to be drafted on Day 2.

Still have no idea how you think Bush would fall. Even outta the top few. I know those teams all have bigger needs, but no one is that dumb to let him slide. If he did slide some, teams would be jumping over eachother to try and trade up to grad him, pullin' a ditka

no way bush makes it out of the top 5 and were going defense so were going huff, good mock exceprt for these 2 picks.

Nice summary....you might want to break it up into paragraphs next time?

Why am i only seeing 31 picks in the 1st round?

Also if miami traded down to the 29th pick how did they get to pick at the 28th spot? time clock run out?
