The quick start, the nature of the losses, and the troubling play calling should make all fans frustrated. However the sky isn't falling, the season isn't lost, and everything you were excited about a month ago shouldn't really change.

I know this will not be a popular post because the easy thing to do is complain/vent.

However this team does have talent and it does fall back on the coaches to adjust and the players to execute. There are plenty of franchises who have had their fair share of woes this season. Hell the NYG are 2 games out of first place after starting 0-6.

If it was just a 3 - 4 start that would be one thing, but there has been a failure of leadership that is evident on the field...I just don't see the current group turning it around.

It's just a bad team. It was a bad team at 3-0 and it's a bad team now.

Division record! We lost to freaking Buffalo. Buffalo. at home. Good teams don't lose to bad/mediocre teams at home.

Very questionable play calling(sweeps on 3rd and inches among others), little production from the draft class, reports of locker room turmoil, knucklehead centers and lack of production from very highly paid free agents

It's not just 3-4

You're right. The sky isn't falling. It already fell.

Name all the great talent on this team besides:

Soliai
Starks
Wake
Grimes
Pouncey
Fields

And what evidence do you have that this coaching staff knows how to adjust? Would it be running it down NEs throats the 1st half and then going away from it? Would it be continuing to not feed Wallace the ball enough just because he gets double teamed?

This team is cooked. Ireland & Co are the walking dead.

It just feels as though it has become a circus. New York Jets South.

The biggest concern for me isn't our talent although IMO we aren't as good as at least I thought at the beginning of the year. My biggest concern is all the chaos and mess. It sounds like the organization is in total disarray which will probably lead to a really bad overall record. Just last year I thought we had the proper coaches to finally turn the franchise around. How quickly things have changed. So it's because of the mess that I feel we will have another bad year.

I don't care about the Giants nor is the situation comparable. The record may be 3-4 but you could see the cracks at 3-0 and they have been completely exposed since. There is no reason to think this is going to get turned around on a dime.

This. It's not the record that makes me upset. It is what I have seen on the field. The plethora of stupid mistakes, the inability to block, the lack of consistency at QB, the performances of Wallace and Wheeler, the lack of impact from Jordan, the injuries, Carroll & Wilson, the stupid play calling on offense, giving up an asinine amount of 3rd and longs on defense, the lack of mental toughness, and now the loss of a starter because of a ****ing childish prank.

This team may have some talent here and there, but they are not even close to being a playoff team with all of those problems.

We barely even won those 3 games we won and one of those teams today (Browns) is not a very good team.

That being said, we almost beat some very good teams and the ball didn't bounce our way or refs altered the outcome and Sturgis some missed some kicks.

Also, not to sound like a broken record, a team cannot turn the ball over has much as this QB has.

One way around getting over turnovers is by making big plays, and we're not doing that either. We seem to score around 20 points per game, and when you throw in 2 QB turnovers, per game, that gives you 4 consecutive losses and if your objective enough and think about it long enough, we really could have lost 6 games.

Last week the Lions had 4 turnovers and the Cowboys had 0, but the Lions made big plays when they had to.

Tonight, we will be 3-5 if Tannehill has 2 turnovers.

You're the only one who said "great talent" not I. There are plenty of teams around the NFL without "great talent" who are capable of winning.

Over the first 3 games of the season this team didn't allow a 4th quarter touchdown and this coaching staff was looked at as geniuses for adjustments. Now they drop 4 games and have 2nd half collapses and they're incapable.

It can't be both. I agree that the play calling and decisions have been poor lately but this is the NFL. There are a lot of up and downs over the course of the season. The momentum needs to be turned.
