3 Brand new QBs

Going into the 2005 season our quarterbacks were the following:
1. Gus Frerotte
2. A.J Feely
3. Sage Rosenfels

Now it appears as though Joey Harrington is on his way in and that leaves our QB situation like this:
1. Daunte Culpepper
2. Joey Harrington
3. Cleo Lemon

We have upgraded significantly at all 3 spots. Just another reason to love Nick Saban. He has come in and totally turned around a franchise with just 1 years work.

I'm so excited for next season, this is awesome!:dolphins:

I dont know if Cleo is a significant upgrade over Sage. Sage played like a beast last year as a backup. He saved us in 2 games.

Yeah but he's not done anything great that shows he can be a good player in the future. Cleo is still very young and maybe could be something. I doubt he does but hey, Sage is never going to be a starter.

I'd prefer Gus as a backup for the immediate future, but Harrington won't be bad at that position, and possibly has upside.

We got torn up in the Cleveland game in all aspects, not just Sage... even if Gus was playing we probably still would have lost that game. We didnt show up for work that day.

At this time we have no idea how any of the three qb's will work out, DC has knee problems joey has confidence problems and who knows about cleo.

On paper we got better 2/3 better qb's (Dc,joey).sage was a good back up but I believe nick knows what he's doing.I like joey,he likes joey and I think he'll be a good fit for us .Better than AJ feely any day...and cleo?,Who knows what he's got.hope he gets son preseason time under his belt so we can all see.

in all fairness the list should appear as it did after training camp

Either way, it's hard to say Cleo is better than Sage or AJ. I know a lot of SD fans loved Cleo and loved what he did in pre-season games but, pre-season really isn't the best tool to gauge if a player is a gem or not.
