3 completed passes would have changed the tone of this board....

Even with those 3 passes completed we would still be 1-1. Stats mean nothing unless you win the game.

Now had RT17 led Wallace on the 1st quarter bomb and we scored a TD to take lead 7-3, the blocked punt wouldn't have occurred
and we might have had a chance to win that game and be 2-0

Much more important pass to discuss IMO.

RT17 did the same thin against the Jets in the season finale last year. Eliminate that miss and we have 14-0 lead and probably make the playoffs last year.

Mike Wallace Keeps his feet in bounds against the Pats
Dion Sims catches the ball against the Pats
Hartline catches the ball this past Sunday in garbage time....

None of which were these RT's fault, and he would have 6 tds and one pick if everything stayed the same except for those 3 passes
Now there would still be talk of some of his inaccuracies for sure, but people would not be calling for his head.... As unhappy as I am overall, there is still the ability for him to be an above avg qb in this league. Sunday sucked, but we got a revamped line, New offensive scheme, and 14 more games... As much as people have a hate on for RT he can improve with some help. Philbin is right that it's not all on RTs shoulders..

The QB gets the blame no matter what. It isn't always fair but that's how the **** gets flung.

No, but I have watched two damn good QBs tonight, and there has been several deep ball misses tonight and a few misplaced balls that were caught or incomplete that could have been made better. This game tonight was about the players after the catch. Happens every game. A lot of us are so close to this team that we don't see the entire picture. 24 of 32 teams have a loss or more after week 2. Small sample of a complicated game.
I've felt for a while now that we just don't have the skill position players on offense to have a high powered offense no matter who the QB is. We have Wallace who is fast but doesn't have very good hands, isn't a good route runner etc. The rest of the wrs are run of the mill/average at best and are all slow, we don't have any big bodied wrs who can get up and attack the ball if needed, and we have a rb in miller who has God aweful vision and can't catch. Clay and Wallace are weapons, but they drop way too many passes, and if bracket these guys there nobody else that scares an opposing team.

Dude, you totally bit this from the joe rose show. Yeah, busted

FWIW, Tannehill has lost 129 yards, in the air, on 8 dropped passes. Aside from Flacco at 119, this is waaay more than any other NFL QB. The 8 drops are second behind Flacco's 10.

When you throw behind the receiver you are going to have drops. Some of those were decent throws though.

Of RT's 8 drops, how many were on him, and how many or the receiver?

don't really know but I know he is not putting the ball where it needs to be on a lot of throws.

In the Pats game- drops by Sims, Landry, and Clay, I have to put on the receivers. Bills game- Hartline 2, Miller 2, and Matthews 1. No time to re-watch yet but, remember at least 1 and 1 being on Hartline and Miller.

If the ball hits the wrs in the hands then it's 100% on the wr. I don't want to hear any of this crap about a QB making it a difficult catch... if u can get your hands on it You Catch the damn ball. Now the lack of yac can be blamed on a QB with bad ball placement, but to say Tannehill has caused drops or someone to fumble is absolutely ridiculous.
