The issue for me is more Tannehill's persona, body language, confidence etc.
Buffalo is a place that we know is tough. A place he's never won against a top defense. Miami has a talented team but it needed a confident QB leading his team to win there. It needed Tannehill to demand control and throw us to victory. Avoid the rushers, pick out the deep man, put points up. Instead it was kind of same old: tentative in the pocket, not letting the ball go, not launching it and letting Wallace go get it. No screaming at his DL and receivers to fix it. No intensity anywhere. It was all introverted throw and hope stuff. That's not leadership for me. I want a damn QB that fills me with confidence. Someone we just know can and will do it. The type that throws an incomplete or inaccurate pass on the deep ball but then demands another deep route to go again. Tannehill does not fill me with confidence whatsoever and if he isn't filling the fans with confidence, I'm sure as hell he ain't filling the team with it either.
