Reshad Jones broke the record with the most runs stops by a safety congrads.

Olivier Vernon broke the record with the most qb hits by a 4-3 DE congrads.

Dallas Thomas broke the record for the most pressures allowed by a guard smh. 51 pressures allowed, its funny how 1 bad guard can ruin an offensive line.

He didn't ruin it by himself. Dallas Thomas is downright terrible, but the truth is that Jamil Douglas and Billy Turner were also bad at RG, and Jason Fox is abysmal.

That said, 63 is indeed awful and I'm pretty positive the Dallas Thomas drinking game has killed people IRL.

The way our OL has been handled under this staff is truly insane and the frightening thing is that it somehow kept getting worse.

How did I know Dallas Thomas was going to be on the list.

Jones making all those tackles is not a positive. Yes he was awesome but it means the RBs were getting past our front 7 most of the time.
Thomas is just horrible and I can't wait for the new regime to get rid of him. Vernon unfortunately had too many dumb penalties but he had a decent year

Vernon and Shelby should be the starting DE next year with Fede and Coples switching in and out to keep that rush fresh. I'm letting Wake go for sure... Resign Vernon and Shelby to team friendly deals (if even possible or tag Vernon) and restructure Coples contract. Done with DE, but that's in a perfect world.... In Dolphins world they let all their drafted DE go in free agency ad draft yet another DE in the 1st leaving a grand canyon at the DB position and LB instead of drafting a for sure stud like Ramsey or Smith.

Just one of the many indictments of this FO and coaching staff...

Count the number of times Tannehill gets hit at the top of his drop because we can't block a 4 man rush off the line of scrimmage. It's insane. Most teams average fewer than one of those type of plays per game.

This past week I counted four of them on us.

Billy Turner played pretty good when he was healthy and was arguably our best run blocker(Turner play has dipped recently because he is nursing an injury), Jason Fox is a backup thats only playing because of an injury to Jawuan James and Douglas is not playing his natural Position. So we have two pro bowlers on our starting offensive line Albert and Pouncey a very good RT in James and a very solid guard in Billy Turner so we only have 1 starter on our offensive line who is complete trash.

The thing with Turner is that the highs are very high and you can see the potential, and for a guy who's been shuffled around and asked to play an entirely new position by an incompetent coaching staff he's done OK. That's why I still like Billy Turner a lot and I think he is going to turn into a really good player for us.

But he struggled pretty badly in a couple of games this year, he had some penalty issues, and he gave up more than a few ugly pressures.

Turner is nursing a quad injury right now. If we get a guard like Marshal Yanda and some more depth on our offensive line we will instantly have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.

Not sure I agree with you. While I am the first person to say that I think the biggest issue we face on the OL is coaching, the fact is that Albert still has injury concerns every season and once again we will be rolling the dice on the play of two guard spots. Now you mix in that Pouncey can't seem to stay healthy either and our reserves stink...

Jones leading our team in tackles is definitely not a good thing but when PFF mentions run stops they are talking about tackles behind and near los, so he leads all safeties in that category.

The norm in Dolphinland. Yeremiah Bell led the defense in tackles quite a few times.

Every fan should be in "show me" mode. If Turner can't play dinged up, what hope do we have for him? As has already been said, Albert and Pouncey can't complete a season. As far as I'm concerned, this OL sucks until they stop sucking on the field.
