3 Fullbacks in Roster Could Mauia become a TE?

maybe.........maybe

muia is a potencial TE.........maybe

Doubt it. 2 of those 3 will most likely not be on the active roster next season. If i had to guess, i would say that Schlesinger and Eckel are going to be the ones on the outs. Maybe Eckel could be on the practice squad, but unfortunatly Schlesinger looks like her will be a victim of the cap and a infusion of youth.

schlesinger would be great to keep for a year to groom Mauia. Eckel did pretty well at Navy, so who knows. practice squad seems good

I think the plan is for Cory to be our FB this year and bring the Juggernaut along because he is our future FB longterm.

We're not getting rid of Cory Schlesinger, we need a dominant blocker in that Cam Cameron offense (Lorenzo Neal). Either it's Mauia or Eckel that's gone...I hope Eckel gets tossed, I fell in love with Mauia after his now famous video.

There's been discussion in the VIP forum that Mauia could be used in an H-Back like role, like Cameron used Brandon Manumaleuna in San Diego, but there it is really just speculation.

i dunno he's only 6ft i think hes a bit short to play TE

I agree with that as well.

He still can be thrown the ball a lot out of the back field or as an H-back lined up elsewhere but as a blocker off the line I dont think that's his game.

He's probably best running downhill and blowing the defense up like a wrecking ball.

it wouldn't make much sense to get rid of schlesigner, he was just signed.

Ithought about the possibility of Mauia being a TE when we drafted him. I actually intended to start a thread about it. I think it's a very strong possibility. He's big, quick on his feet, has the ability to block, is agile for a big man, and knows what to do with the ball in his hands. WHY NOT?

He would have to learn line blocking technique, obviously. But I think he could do it.

he would be the shortest TE in the legue, hes only 6ft tall.
