Are all division rivals. After the Steelers we have 3 straight division opponents. Looks like this is sure to be the biggest month of the season, already...

Get ready for a looong 4 weeks!

I like the optimism. I just hope that we get improved play from the OL. Well it really could not get any worse.

we will win the next four games....
Against Pitt., we may have a shot, assuming the team gets a little more fired up after being embarrased, and the fact that they are at home, and they lost their home opener. As far as N.E., and the Jets, unfortunatly, they have the more complete squads out there. While it would be great to beat our rivals all the time, it's just not realistic.

It could get worse. We didnt think it could get any worse a week ago and then Chester got hurt. What a blow to the defense.

I dont think we will go 4 - 0 but I am hoping at the end of this stretch, for a more cohesive OLINE and productive Offense. That is the most I can hope for..

If our O-line improves, and get a few key players back from injury, we should beat the Steelers, and Bills, and have a good shot at beating the Jets (Even with all the players we lost, we still have more talent then them) at home. The Patriots will be the toughest, considering they are probably the best coached them In football, and will be at home.

Our biggest problem is O-line, if this improves, so will our chances at being successful in games, and yes maybe still make the playoffs.....don't see us going any further then that though, not this year anyway.

Unless a miracle happens and the nfl suddenly allows us to make a trade this week, we're not beating anybody. Every team is going to do the same thing Cincinnati did which is blitz on every down. And our wussies in the front won't hold them up. There's no way we beat the Jets, Bills, Pats. And I seriously doubt we beat the Steelers this weekend.

You have a good chance against the Steelers and Bills.

No chance against the Pats

Not a good chance against the Jets

In the NFL I would never say that there is "no chance" against ANY team. Hell, look at Chicago beating GB in GB this weekend. The NFL has parity and on any given day...

That being said I do not think we have a good chance against either the Pats or Jets (ugh that kills me to say), but that is why they play the games!

I agree for the most part. The Steelers and Bills games are our best chances of getting wins but I'm not optimistic about the game this weekend. I will never say that we can lose to the Jets even though they have looked a lot better than us this year because they are the Jets and I hate them too much. We won't beat the Pats.

i think we have a great chance at beating the jets. if you look at it the same way i do.

the jets their first 2 games played cincinati, they alowed 24 points, the next game they played San diego and they allowed 28. it seems to me that the jets have a poor defense. and if we can hold them under 16 points then we will win that game. and with our defense i really think we have a chance at that.

That's certainly true, but it's as close to a sure bet as there can be.

14 points in both games were attributed to one Special Teams goof, and a late score on Prevent defense.
It's not like both teams shredded the Jets Defense.
Plus the Jets lit up the Bengals, and have a better Defense than they do. If you couldnt move the ball against them, you arent going to have much luck against the Jets. You can go ahead and think you have a good chance, but realistically you dont.

And how are we going to score 16 or more against them, after what the offense did against a lowly Bengals D?

the jets D is worse. trust me
Than the Bengals? No it's not, it's much better.
They just held Rudi Johnson and Ladainian Tomlinson under 100 yds rushing in back to back weeks.
The passing game didnt look good in Week 1, but it shut down the Chargers up until the end last week.

The Bengals defense sucks, they let Martin rush for 196 yards. And Pennington to throw for 220 and 2 TDs. All of this with ease, and didnt force any turnovers. Although they looked like champions against the Dolphins last week, I think that had to do with how bad Miami's offense played.
