yes absolutely for the first 2 ….. good special teams but they cost way too much …. Somebody else cn do specials n save a roster spot….. cnt b that hard

Every time Bobby McCain was hurt vs the Chiefs and Fejedelem stepped on the field they scored a TD within a few plays. Both (long) TDs were a result of him not respecting Hill’s speed and being caught out of position.

Could use the money for other needs? What resources are available on this free agent market for other needs lol. None. So you want to cut a couple really good special teamers because you dont like what they make? mmmkay.

Its not our money. Free agency is over fellas. We dont need a bunch of cap money right now. We need good players on all 3 phases of the game.
 
There's a couple of higher priced special teamers. Think back to some cool fake punts, Fej was key there. We brought him in to be a special teams ace. He is just that and worth every nickel. Flo must think so!
 
I was really hoping they trade or cut shaheen. I think he’s a selfish, low effort, mental mistake type player. I’d much rather give his reps to Long and Smythe.

Another is Grant he’s a 50/50 guys as in for every good play he give and equally bad play. I’d just rather give Merritt a shot.

Finally I’d give it to whoever took McKinney’s spot. I really think he’s going to be missed week 1 and Monday morning we’ll be wondering why we cut him knowing full his services are extremely relevant against a run heavy team.
 
Fejeldem should absolutely not play on defense whatsoever. Way too stiff and slow. Not NFL material as a defensive player. With 13 DBs hopefully we are covered without him.

Coaches are allowed to keep the players and build the team that they want to build. Flores, who I like a lot as a coach, has emphasized on his roster construction and FA spending that he prioritizes special teams more than coaches that we have previously had. Guys like Hollins (last year), Carter, and Fejeldem are on the roster solely because of their value on special teams That is how Flores wants his team to operate. As I said I like Flores and he is entitled to coach the team he wants to coach.
