3 RB's 5 WR 10 OL & 10 DL Whats up?

I Cant believe for 1 Min that we go into Pitt w/ 2 RB's and a fullback. Something big must be comming down the road and hopefully quick. I can see the 10 OL but thats more than we have ever kept. 10 DL can anyone say Chris Brown? 5 WR no big deal cause we will keep one or two on the PS depending on who clears waivers. I am sitting on pins and needles waiting to see what Houdini, I mean Saban pulls of with all those DL. What other posibilites are out there for trades because it is pretty obvious that is what is going to happen.

Judging by the preseason, you'd be right. We had an awful amount of success throwing the ball, and very little success running the ball.

If we go into Pitt with 2 RB's we lose because there is no game plan because will will have to be a passing team and without balance we tell them what we are going to do. May as well mail them the game plan. If we are a passing team we keep more recievers. No team in the NFL keeps 2 RB's on the roster. Now come on I am sure you have a better theory than that.

We've got 1 open roster spot and too many DL. My guess is that we sign a FB/RB off waivers, and pick up another RB/FB via trade for one of our defensive linemen.

I believe there will be a trade with a couple of different teams:

Tennessee - we will give up 1-2 DL for Chris Brown

and, then something else.

i think we might give Charles Rogers a chance - considering Joey Harringto and him played together for a couple of years.

I love the possibility of Naje Davenport. But, it will take him a while to get his mental confidence back after his ACL injury.

Thats Morris not Minor and that is only 4 RB's when he comes back. There is no team in the NFL who keeps less than 5. None!

Ron Dayne sucks. he did decent last year but that was in Denver.


Also you keep bad mouthing Russell because he is injury prone. how can you even list Suggs he is just as fragile if not worse than russell.

I hope we pick up Lionel Gates or Artose Pinner. I was hoping for Pinner all preseason then I found out the Bills cut Gates. This guy is Big and Fast and has good vision. I really think Gates can be a starting RB in this leage.

We are going to pick up a back for sure. Who I don't know but you can be sure Saban is ranking available backs and calling there agents.That will give us a full roster and 3 backs for the first 4 weeks, then when Morris comes back it will be 5. I think the reason we have the 10 OLinemen is because of injuries to 2 key backups and Morrises spot available. Wade Smith is insurance since we don't know how bad Toledo and Bergers injuries are yet. This gives us 4 weeks to get them healthy or put 1 on IR when Morris comes back. If both are healthy Wade will be cut.
