This is my first post on here and new to making mock drafts so plz take it easy haha who am i joking
Round 1) Jake Long we need to give John Beck someone to protect his back side and sure up the offensive line. I truely believe you win in the trenches it doesnt matter who we have back there getting the snap if he is on his butt the whole game and it doesnt matter who u have running the ball if he is getting hit 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage. This man is a road grader that will be a solid tackle for years to come.
Pick 2a) James Hardy i am not sold on Wilford just yet not to say he wont be productive but i just believe we need to give Beck all the weapons we can and Hardy is a solid one at 6'7. We need competition at wide receiver because really how can beck succeed with the receivers we have now.
Pick 2b) Brandon Flowers if not there Tracy Porter the secondary is a major priority that needs to be address now and i believe flowers would give us a good cover corner and a corner who could help out in the run he is a big physical db that we have been lacking. We need a little nasty in the secondary.
Round 3) TE Martellus Bennett
I know this a relatively offensive draft and that our defense was ravished last year but I think we filled in a few spots with stop gaps through free agency and hopefully the players injured last year on the defensive side of the ball come back strong. We need to give who ever plays qb a chance to succeed and I believe we would be well on the way to a young potent offense with this draft.
