3 strikes and your out jeff ireland. (read more)

I hope nothing but the best for the dolphins but as of now i have lost all hope of us being a contender anytime soon. We might win some games next season but again, until we find a franchise qb we arent doing anything. We went from being a potential superbowl caliber team to now having nothing , b marsh gone, peyton tellin us no, . Buffalo has a franchise qb, the jets have a franchise qb even though sanchez struggled this year he is still a franchise qb that took his team to the afc east conference game 2 years in a row and almost won the 2nd game. Moving on, the patriots, need i say more? tom brady... The dolphins on otherhand still cant find themselves a qb after 3 attempts. Its becoming very obvious that players just dont like jeff ireland and running for the hills as soon as they arrive in miami. Ross just hasnt figured out why no qb wants to play for the dolphins. Hect, peyton would not even give us a meeting. Every year the pain of dolphins fans get worse and worse and it just even worse this offseason.

I know some of you dolphin fans are going to say, well just wait for the draft, we will build to threw the draft. Folks, we have had how many years since marino retired to build threw the draft and what do we have to show for it? nothing but a few talents on the roster that isnt a franchise qb. Jake long, vontae, and thats pretty much it as far as elite talent wise. With the dolphins draft pick there is no way miami has gets one of the premierre qbs coming out rf3, luck ect... We finally got our coach but as long as jeff ireland is here, no players will wanna play here. Not saying all players wont play here but after that( is your mom a pros) no player wants anything to do with this franchise other than use us to get more money from there teams.

Thats 3 possible franchise qbs that have told the dolphins no in a 3 day time period. That says it all.
 
Buffalo? Since they signed their so called franchise qb they lost just about evey game.

there team got the injury bug last year after a great undefeated start, it happens. Clearly everyone saw how much talent buffalo had last year when they beat the patriots.
 
Interesting that you indicate that players don't want to play here because of Ireland, yet Philbin has signed on as coach. By your logic, he was either desperate for a HC job or he's a bit stupid and naive not to notice how bad Ireland is.

Sure Ireland may be tough to deal with and doesn't bow to our (fans) wishes. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since he is there taking it all in first hand.

And remember, the grass is always greener on the other side.
 
You guys want a quick fix like Flynn would have been or do you want the Dolphins to take their time to find a 'franchise' QB? Not sure Flynn would have been that.

What 3 QBs are you speaking about that we have missed out on. I see Chad Henne. Pat White was a gimmick pick decision made by Parcells. Ok we know that Henne while not a franchise QB but he was signed pretty quickly this year wasn't he. So while he was not Miami savior he certainly was not a bust that many fans would like to make him out to be. Sanchez is a joke as a elite QB yea he has gotten them to the playoff but so did Buddy Ryann back when they had a elite defense in Philly and a servicable QB which is what Sanchez is. Bufallo has been at the bottom ot the AFC east barrell since Kelly left years ago. Now lets take a step back with the Pats and lets just say they got pretty lucky with Tom Brady and would be very very hard for any team to beat the Pats while he has been around. In fact the last team to win the AFC east outside of the Pats recently was us while Brady was injured should I say more. Bill Billicheck was a cast off coach from the Browns when he came on board so that tells you something about that coach. The one thing they do swell is trade for additional picks in the draft. They do not draft that well for all the high picks that they get. But with them winning basically because of Brady all that is covered up. I would even go on to say that Ireland has a higher percentage of his picks making it in the NFL than the Pats. Still at this stage he Ireland could improve his trading ablility. Clark and Channing are just mouths who got their feelings hurt they need to get their big boy pannies on and get over it. Marshall was a elite talent who took more from the team effort than what he gave even with all his talent. He more than anyone got Sporanno fired with his antics. Watch for more of the same and that is why Denver also gave up on him when they did too. I expect that Marshall was not Irelands decision either.
 
Ross/Parcells/and Ireland = "SUBTREFUGE"!!!! Damage Control is not possible at this time. I wish Wayne had never sold the team to this buffoon. He is a joke of an owner,and an embarrassment to our beloved NFL. I've been a 'Fin since they were born into the league,and I've"NEVER" felt so disappointed as a fan. I will,however,stay on board....and continue to bail water,in hopes we can stay afloat...."AND IN MIAMI"!!!!!
 
Good point phintim about the player ego's. They're fragile people sometimes and they're going to let others know to make them feel better.
