3 that got away

There are 3 games the fins let get away that i can't get over ,....the 1st Buffalo game and the Atlanta and Pats games....the only reason i can't get over them is that the Fins are 7-7 and even 2 wins out of those 3 would have helped us ....just wondering if anyone else feels the same......heres hopeing that this is a spring board for next year...start building a winning attitude...thanks guys for not giving up on the season.....
 
The pats game kills me......had we won that game, we'd both be 8-6 and it would come down to the final week for the division ...grrrrrrr
 
I think you can look at every team in the league and come up with games that they let slip away. Gotta remember we should have lost the Bills game a couple weeks ago, and who would`ve thought we`d beat Denver and Carolina, so we`re probably sitting right where we should be.
 
everyone feels that way. the pats game obviously kills because of the tie breaker advantage and the even records it would give us.


everyone talks about the play calling on that first and goal inside 1 minute (which was putrid) but i think it was mcmikes fumble late in the 1st half that screwed us. we were up 7-0 or 10- or somethin and he fumbled at the 8 yd line then the pats drove down and turned it into a FG. that play i think swayed our season:shakeno:
 
good teams win those close ones. look at the patriots the past 4 years. some very close games. and look at houston this year. they've had SEVERAL close calls

We've won the past 3 games and they were close. So does that mean we're becoming a good team now? :)
 
I think it does. This team is much improved from the begining of the season. I like the way things are heading :)
 
Are you going to give the second Bills game back? We should have lost but but we won. We barely won that Carolina game and it could have just as easily went the other way. Does anyone here not believe the Panthers were going down for the FG that game?

Every team has games they look back on that they could have won, but they also have games they could have lost as well.

Fans just don't usually focus on those games as much for obvious reasons.
 
the past game sucked the most we'd still have a very good shot at the playoffs had we won that one
 
i think about those 3 games a lot.

the fact that we lost them doesn't bother me as much as HOW we lost them. a fumble by brown against the bills, and interception against the falcons.....

bad mistakes killed us at the end, and that's keeping us from the playoffs.
 
I'm still in shock over the Browns game. That was pathetic! A game we definetly took lightly and should have won....nevermind the final score

Yup, but it's been all uphill from there, though.
