We have now scored 30+ points 4 games in a row. That is a new franchise record for us. Just think of the high powered offenses we have had in the past, and this is the offense that has accomplished this feet! Amazes me!
That being said it is now time to place the blame of our losses were it is deserved. ON OUR DEFENSE How can an offensive player be blamed for our losses when our Defense is a sieve? If our Defense (11+ guys) make any plays we dont have to score 40+ points and blame a WR for not making a game winning catch.
Today proved that Ginn as a WR makes our offense better. He keeps the defenses honest, as was evident by our high powered running game being shut down. They were able to stuff the box because the deep threat was on the sidelines. Like it or not Ginn demands double teams. Weather or not he catches the ball, they still have to put 2 guys on him. This makes our other WRs better as well. Notice how poor our Offense was today with Ginn on the sideline? It wasnt a coincidence.
Why no calling for Bess's job after his mistakes? He has fumbled in very critical spots and has totally altered the momentum of the games. Is this becasue he wasnt drafted? That should have no barring on an argument of performance. They are all on the field wearing a dolphins jersey! Fumbles are way more serious than dropped balls, arent they? I just had to get that out there, i like Bess, hell i Love all our guys. DEFENSE is our problem! period
It is our DEFENSE that prevents us from going to the next level. It isnt WRs or the QB or any other lame fingure pointing that goes on this site.
And thank Ginn for winning this game for us. I have been an avid supporter of Ginn, but was glad to see him benched today. I got out my crow recipes, but i put them away for now! And lastly now that he has been spanked for being a bad boy put him back on the field at WR and on PUNTS! Just wait and see what this confidence does for him. Notice how he took the other kicks up the middle and didnt avoid contact! Confidence is huge!
