My brother, his friend, and I were at the Detroit vs Miami game last year. I haven't watched SUH play a lot but was definitely familiar with him as being an all pro. However, up close and personal gave me a different perspective on this guy. Our first series was a nightmare and he made it all happen basically on his own. I remember saying a guy like that whom has the ability to control an entire set of downs on his own is invaluable. To see him operate in person was awesome. Or D lie is going to cause major havoc this year. We haven't had a man our team like this since BRYAN COX!!!!!!!

I agree, we have not had this type of nastiness in a long, long time!!! This is the type of guy that changes the culture of a defense, like Jarvis on the offensive side of the ball. Desire, heart and give it their all, Landry and Suh display that week in and week out.

We haven't had a tackler like this since Joe Montana!

i mean Joe Mantegna!

Jason Taylor and Trace Armstrong also were that dominant. Wake is almost that good.

Wake, Jason Taylor, and Armstrong were great players, but not in the same league as SUH. You can't look at SUH's stats as a comparison as he is usually double teamed and then chipped with a back and still makes plays. He frees up other people to make plays.

Hopefully he can light a fire and get the rest of the defense to play with his intensity...minus the whole kicks to the buts and stepping on legs.
