3000 tickets unsold for MNF opener

Well sparano said it two days ago about winning, " We certaintly want to do it with you, but we WILL do it without you."

Plus, who on here has the right to badmouth any dolphins fans about not attending? Money is tight these days and if i were to spend my hard earned money on tickets, i would most likely buy tickets to a game where we wont possibly get blown out.

That being said:

Dolphins 31

Patriots 21

Im confident that we can and will win this game. Lets make 95% of espn's staff eat crow!!!

How can we have a blackout on MNF? Its a nationally syndicated game on ESPN.

It won't be blacked out. By the time the deadline comes, there will probably be only 2,000 or so tickets available, and the radio, ross or businesses or tv will buy them. Same for Jets and Eagles games.

Problem is the Texans, Redskins, Bills, Raiders games. There are around 15,000 available for those games right now Dee said. People need to buy for those games.

Hurry up Ross and grab another non football attraction like a minority celebrity...

It's what happens when you fail to win. It's what happens when you've failed to bring in an exciting QB prospect since 1983.

Well, I think Sparano got his answer to his "speech to the fans." lmao. Miami fans don't pay to see a loser. Maybe up in Cleveland or some place you could get away with this ****.

It is embarrassing. What do you people do down there? Here in Boston, a non-sold out Pats game is like the Lochness Monster. Same w/NY.

A lot of people down here spend their time looking for a job and wondering what the hell happened to the value of their house. That's what they do. So how's about restricting your posts to something you have a clue about before opening yourself up to the monstrous irony of calling someone else "embarrassing."

I went to the MNF game last year...Special Teams nightmare.

I would go this year, but something about "School" and "Clinicals" kept me glued to home :( Sorry Fins, I would much rather be in Miami Believe me!!

it has been a problem longer than just this year, this is the worst year though. Did you see that Marlins like crowd last night?

I did. It was sad. They did sell well last year though. Only 2 thousand tickets available overall last year. This year there is 15k available for the Houston game and 18k available for the Denver game. The fans have spoken, they want Sparano, Ireland and Henne gone.

I would say this post hits the nail on the head for much of South Florida. Dade and Broward Counties have some of the highest unemployment rates in the country right now, including the very highest skilled labor or professionals (e.g. MBA's/CPA's were getting laid off like crazy within in the last 2 years) down here. It has hit both my wife and me this year; something we never expected. This does not discourage me from being the huge fin fan, and going to the games when possible (went to Dallas/Miami game last night - but someone offered me their tix).

Nonetheless, we do support the fins when we can. I think the diehard fans try to go REGARDLESS of how the feel about the product on the field. We are always the optimists (speaking for myself).

lower the ticket prices, also I find it funny when out of town fans tell locals to buy tickets

I dont follow.

How exactly does Ross buy seats for himself? Does he write himself a check?

Not being a smartass, I just dont see that premise.

Teams buy back the tickets and donates them usually. (usually to people who don't use them)

It's lost income on the books. He is eating the tickets, no way to run any business and stay alive
