I could watch Ricky run counters and lead draws behind Rob Konrad all day long...

Its hard to watch...because I realize that we had one of the best talents at the RB position of ALL-TIME....

If only we could have addressed the QB position and given us another big weapon at WR...we were so close to have an all-around perfect team.

Its a damn shame...Rickys career was ran into the ground by our idiot head coach. What could have been...

That all being said - Ricky is an incredible human being and I am very much looking forward to the chance of meeting him and doing meditation/yoga this summer (if all goes as planned)

I can't recall a RB having a better year since this. That includes LaDanian Tomlinson in 2006, and Adrian Peterson in 2012.

You forget just how nasty he was as a runner. The combo of power, speed and vision straight ridiculous.

I gave it a shot, but when I previewed the edit ... it gave the message that replay was disabled by user on other websites. Since you have to click the links anyway, I left your post as is.

One scout hand timed Ricky Williams at 4.36 in the 40 at 245lbs...................................

there's been 2 backs to rush for 2k since 02

Get out of here Chris Johnson couldn't hold Ricky Williams jock strap

Watching Ricky run in 2002 was a treat. Probably the most enjoyable season since the Marino years (except for the way it ended)

Wow! What a fantastic player and runner. My second all time favorite player to watch every week wearing a phins uniform. Did all this against 8-9 men in the box for most of his Dolphin career. Never knew if he would run a guy over, jump over him or run right past him. Made sundays, during his time as our RB, can't miss TV!

One of the greatest years a RB has ever had. I am not sure I have ever seen a better year in my lifetime even w/ the few 2,000 yd seasons we have seen.

Wannsteadt . . . . smh.

Wasn't there like 7 pro bowlers on defense and Ricky on offense?

I know Jay Fiedler got hurt in the middle of the season, but the fact that he couldn't make the playoffs with this squad should tell you everything you need to know about him. His coaching the final 2 games was some of the worst we've ever seen . . . . and that is saying a lot around these parts.

Back to Ricky though . . . . I enjoyed every moment of that season. It took 10 years for another RB to match his season (AP 2012). We gave up a lot to get Ricky, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching him in a Fins uniform.

some bad decisions were made but players have to make plays and they didn't do that the last couple of weeks.

the run at around the 3:40 was the most painful. the game was likely over but that ended and ended the streak.

That burst was just godly for a 5'10" 230 lbs running back.
