So, before the combine weekend started i knew i wanted to focus on the linebacker groups going into it hoping to find a later round guy that could help out our run defense. While watching i was pleased to find a potential mid rd gem.

In my eyes he was one of the most athletic LBs in his group. I saw great footwork, good balance, good rotation of the hips and good pass catching ability. So i went on to youtube in search of "film."

Those are some of the videos i found. There are a few more on youtube but i didnt want to post too many here. However, i did find an interview with Jordan talking about his UCLA career and he seems like high character kid with a good head on his shoulders. Maybe he fits the Philbin mold..

I agree, he will go somewhere between 3-5. What i'm hoping for is Martin in the 1st, Amaro or Niklas in the 2nd, Jeremy Hill 3rd, Zumwalt 4th. However if we feel the need to take him in the 3rd due to other teams interest lets just say i wouldn't feel like i did when they took Egnew in the 3rd.

If the draft rolled out like that I'd be OK with that. I'm not sold on Niklas like others, and I don't think Amaro is there for us in the second. It could just as easily be a tackle like Bitonio, Turner, or Moses and I'd be happy too.

i like his game...physical he will light you up...a little light in the pants he looks though...lean torso...i think he's a day 3 guy...5th round ish

When i turned the tape on his size was one of the first things i noticed as well. He seems to play bigger than his size and uses the weight he does have with good leverage to get off blocks and make a tackle. I think with an nfl strength and nutrition program he should put on another 15 lbs or so.

He actually reminds me of Kiko Alonso coming out of Oregon. (build wise)

i dont see alonzo torso wise...he's leaner than that to me...i don't think he can carry much more weight and not lose anything...build is kinda like a safety in some regards...in pads at least...he will hit you though...he comes out of his shoes to make hits...

Hits hard.. I was watching when he damn near knocked Logan Thomas into a coma in the bowl game.

That Carl Bradford is another guy that can play. Highly underrated.
