Who could believe in the midst of our disastrous 4-12 season..was a shining silver lining. Remember all of the angst we all felt as Dolphin fans?? We wondered if our storied franchise would ever be the same again. Who would we get to rebuild the Phins to glory? Would Wanny be gone? We were abysmal..and we all cried crocodile tears into countless glass' of beer.

That 4-12 season could very well turn out to be one of the best things that could have ever happened to this franchise. First, it allowed us the oppurtunity to bring in the next Hall of Fame coach of the Miami Dolphins...you can etch that one in stone folks. Imagine if we had sucked so bad THIS year...with all the head coaching vacancies...could Saban have been tempted to go somewhere else? We had the best draft we have had since 1983...and could possibly be better not counting The Man. We have some great new stars..like Crowder, Roth, and of course Mr. Brown. We have become the team that nobody wants to play. In short...everyone of us..the team...the fans...dare I say even the whole NFL...now believes. Believes that the Miami Dolphins are at the cusp of returning to greatness, where we rightfully belong.

So..as we all prepare to watch today's football games. Take heart..and know that this is going to be the last time....perhaps in a long long time....that we wont be watching our Phins play a divisional playoff game.

Darn right, I am so excited about the direction Nick has this team going. I can't wait for the Super Bowl to be over and all the off season actions starts with the players.

Very excited. I think you're a little premature on the "cusp of greatness" thing; this team needs more consistency. Yes, I know the team won six straight to end the season, but there were numerous times during those games where the Fins simply didn't execute as a great or even a good team would.

They're headed in the right direction remarkably fast, and I think the Fins and pats are going to have an absolute WAR for the next five years in the division. They may become great, but there are a few obstacles to overcome first.

You're such a Homer.

Gusp of Greatness...........um, not even close - yet. A couple of seasons where we actually win the division and advance deep into the playoffs consistently makes us good. Winning multiple Super Bowls makes us great.

Goat, I agree too. I'm excited about the direction we seem to be headed. Problem is that Saban has to make as many, if not more positive moves this offseason as he did last offseason. Last year we said that QB was the primary position to upgrade...well, even tho he upgraded it, it's still the primary position to upgrade, along with other holes and some re-signings that must happen...but it'll certainly make the offseason exciting...

Soon guys....soon.

Panthers went from worst to first in three seasons. Its not impossible.

We finished on a 6 game win streak. The bodes very well for next season. I consider it possible that we start next season as a powerhouse, therefore we could be on the cusp of greatness.
