Miami Dolphins: LaRon Landry, S, LSU

I know this makes two first-round safeties in consecutive years, but if LaRon Landry falls to No. 9, it has to be a no-brainer for the Dolphins. Yeremiah Bell played well last season, but there’s no denying that Landry would be an upgrade over either him or Renaldo Hill.

Miami Dolphins: James Marten, OT, Boston College

Because the Dolphins need someone to protect Daunte Culpepper's blind side, and James Marten is one of the last remaining tackles who could come in and start his rookie year, I think they will choose the former Eagle.

Miami Dolphins: Paul Williams, WR, Fresno State

The Dolphins acquired this pick in the Wes Welker trade. Miami desperately needs speed at wide receiver, and Paul Williams' 4.41 40 at the Combine may coax them into taking him.

Miami Dolphins: Leroy Harris, C, N.C. State
More help for Miami's offensive line.

I would prefer WR Sidney Rice to Marten in round 2, I'm curious as to your opinions.

word is that atlanta moved up to 8 for Landry. Not buying this one.

My money as of right now is that Quinn is our golden egg and Levi Brown (contrary to what you read or hear) is the next one. Houston is now behind us and it is perfect for us to take Brown now. Houston probably bought into the notion that we are not interested in Brown. But if Quinn is gone, then we will get Brown and Houston will be slamming their fists against the desk.

Why wouldnt you buy that they would take Landry?...The guy is a stud and will be a great FS.

Houston probably doesnt care if we take Brown(which we wont IMO)because they have a ton of holes to fill.

One interesting thing is the idea that Willis might go to Atlanta. I know that wasn't their plan when they traded in front of us, but his workouts might just convince them that he is worth it. Interesting theory.

I don't particularly like this draft. What I like even worse is the consistency that is beginning to appear in most mocks with Khalil, Sears, and Grubbs all going a few picks ahead of us at the beginning of Round 2. I really really really want one of those guys to fall to us there. I think Sears is the most likely candidate, and I would be fine with him.

no way Miami passes on Eric Wright in the 3rd round for Scott Chandler..

WE NEED OFFENSE...Cam is an offense guy. I think we will will go offense,
If quinn is there we get him if not then Brown. I would prefer to move up and get a franchise man thought. Either thomas or quinn

Landry is as good as a Falcon, IMO.

Everyone seems to agree that they moved ahead of us for either Landry or Brown. However, I have also heard from a few sources that they plan on moving Jimmy Williams to safety. If that happens, don't be surprised if they look at Leon Hall (to play opposite Deangelo), Patrick Willis (to replace Ed Hartwell), or Adam Carriker (to replace Patrick Kerney).

that Lions trade isn't likely at the top of the 1st.
Landry will be gone by #9.

there'll be good WR's avail. at #40 with lesser risk and those LT's in the 2nd should be placed in the 3rd

4th Rd OL is very possible though, in adt'n to one in the 3rd

not far off from what I'm thinkin overall
